"Well cockly doodly dee, what be yee? And why does yes have a long face?". (XD sorry she loves meeting new people)
“It’s, um, been a long day.” Elodie sighed with a half laugh, “I appreciate the concern, though. I-if that’s what that was.”
"I understand". Ivy nodded. "Too many of those have reared their ugly head to me. So what happened to you? If you want".
❝Stop it, you’re being even more rude than usual.❞
“Oh I’m sorry, did I hurt your feelings?” Crowley growled mockingly. “I’m a demon! Rude is what I do best!”
Ivy stood there shaking in silence. Her breath caught in her throat. Her father was standing there, with a blank face he stood in silence too. It almost unreal or like a dream but she knew it wasn’t. Nothing was ever a dream. “He’s not awake is he..?”. If her father saw her with a demon, well first he’d kill the demon then realize she loved that demon the plan would just fall apart. “Crowley, I..I am sorry. I just- I’m sorry”. Sorry that its going to be really hard to find a soul. How was she going to to about doing that? She would never kill someone that didn’t deserve it. Stepping carefully over to him, mostly because of eerie presence of her long missing father, she laid her head on his chest and wrapped her arms around Crowley, keeping her focus on her father. “Thank you” she breathed.
“No,” Crowley grunted simply. “He’ll wake when you want him to.” He stood stiffly as she wrapped her arms around him, until he slowly returned the embrace, pulling her closer to him. “You’re welcome pet,” he sighed, kissing the top of her head. “You don’t owe me anything. Just…remember that you can just ask me, and I’ll do whatever you wish. There’s no need for the theatrics.”
Ivy thought quietly. What would her mother think? What would she say? Her mother never remarried but when you tell someone ‘I brought your husband back from Hell’ the reaction tends to be confused and scared. “Can he stay in a guest room tonight? I need time to talk to my mother. What will I even say?”. Maybe Crowley could remove the memory of her father missing but she’s asked a lot today. It would be the easiest way though. “Not to mention, making it up to you”.
Crowley rolled his eyes. First she trapped him to get her damn father back, now she didn’t know what to do with him. “Next time you want something, formulate a proper plan first,” he scolded, clicking his fingers to send him to a different room. “He’ll be safe for the night. Just the night. Then he either leaves, or goes back down. You best hope your mother is open minded.” He smirked slightly. “And how do you intend to do that?”
Ivory shook her head. How would she do that. "I-I don't know. How would you explain that you fell in love with a demon then rescued your father from Hell on the fact that demon happens to be the king of Hell?". She scoffed. It was the truth but a bad truth. "I don't know. I mean what am I going to tell dad when he wakes up. 'Oh hey dad, I rescued you from becayse my boyfriend is the king'". She chuckled sarcastically then looked to Crowley. "That the king may be a demon but he's a classy, kind, honest gentleman and that I love him, despite making some mistakes". Ivy looked away in shame and guilt. "I don't know what to say to either of my parents but I know what to say to you. I'm so sorry Crowley. I didn't mean for it to be like this. I'm so sorry".
❝Stop it, you’re being even more rude than usual.❞
“Oh I’m sorry, did I hurt your feelings?” Crowley growled mockingly. “I’m a demon! Rude is what I do best!”

“Ivy!” Crowley called indignantly as she slammed the door in his face. “Ivy, pet, come on sweetheart. I’m sorry. It won’t happen again. Ivy, let me in, please.” He tried the door gently, only to find that she was doing a very effective job of blocking it. “Let me in pet. I’m not angry any more.”
“I’m not mad either”. ‘I’m scared’ she cried out to herself. Ivy scrambled away from the door to the post of her bed. Anxiously waiting for him to realize she moved, she glanced up at the circle painted on the ceiling. She let a shakey breath leave her lips as she debated if she should stop him from coming in or not.
Crowley eventually tried the door again, and finding the obstruction gone, he stepped into the room to find Ivy next to her bed. “Ivy, darling, I’m sorry,” he sighed. “I’m sorry I was cruel and if I scared you or made you angry. Don’t be upset darling. Please.”
“Crowley..”. Her voice shook and she wanted to rush into his arms like she always does but her feet felt as heavy as boulders. Ivy’s eyes were fixated on the devil trap painted on the ceiling as she asked “Crowley, will you do something for me?”.
Crowley sighed at the quiver in her voice. He hadn’t meant to scare her like this. He frowned when she didn’t look at him, but decided she was just still scared. “Of course sweetheart,” he said softly.
“Free my father”. She finally rested her eyes on his and choked up. “I didn’t mean..”. All she came here was to manipulate Crowley into freeing her father’s soul but dammit if she didn’t end up falling in love. Ivy took a calming breathe and continued “free my father’s soul from Hell and I’ll free you”.
Crowley frowned with confusion as she spoke. “Free me from…oh you-!” If he wasn’t trapped in the circle above him, he would have killed her. “This has all been some idiotic ploy?!” he snarled at her, expression livid. “Trap me so I’ll free your damn father? I’ve got news for you sweetheart, your father is staying right where he is until I get out of this. And then he’s going to suffer a hell of a lot more than he has been! I’ll make sure he knows it’s because of you.”
Ivy had tears running down her face but she spoke with a strong voice “free him Crowley! If you love me like you say you do then do it”. She wiped away her blurred vision and told him" Crowley you know I wouldn’t do this unless I needed insurance. I wouldn’t hurt you but I know how you do business!“. She took a step towards him and asked, taking his hand” please, give me back my dad. I love you but I miss him". Scuffing away the paint of the trap with a yard stick, she looked to him unsure with a shakey breath.
“Why didn’t you just ask me normally?” Crowley growled. “Why go through these theatrics? There was no need to trap or blackmail me! Because I have not lied to you, I do love you. I would have gladly…” He pulled his hand out of hers, waiting until she released him before he disappeared. He returned a few moments later, her father with him. “This is not an act I carry out lightly,” he said in a dangerously quiet tone. “You owe me a soul.”
Ivy stood there shaking in silence. Her breath caught in her throat. Her father was standing there, with a blank face he stood in silence too. It almost unreal or like a dream but she knew it wasn’t. "Your safety is of great concern to me."
"Look, You don’t need to worry, I’m fine and I can handle myself."
"Who said I gave up?" He have her a look before sitting up slowly. "I’m just saying I’ve accepted what ever is going to happen."
She sniffled. “You just sound like you’re giving up and I… Well I can’t accept that”. She gave him a soft look “Dean, dying isn’t exactly something I’m good at dealing with. I don’t want to lose you”.
“Don’t worry about it…” Because it just made him worried instead. And it was nothing he wanted or needed right now.
“But I do worry about it!” She snapped, tears falling down her cheeks. “Tell me something! Something that’s not going to make me think you want to give up”.
“...I love you”.
"Your safety is of great concern to me."
"Look, You don’t need to worry, I’m fine and I can handle myself."
She chuckled and moved closer to him, so he wouldn’t he to move anymore. “Because I know you Dean. You’d be surprised how much you’ve let in”.
He smiled a little at her and sighed. “Then why do you even ask if you already know?”
"Because I care about you and I don’t want you to have to hurt anymore then you have to. Physical or emotional." She explained, taking his his hand
He sighed a little and looked away from her for a short moment. “You know I might not survive this right?”
Ivy didn’t answer at first. Of course she knew that. Only God knew how much she wanted him to. He was her friend, she’d say like family but it wasn’t like that. “Don’t say that” she muttered dryly. “Why do you think I’ve been trying to hard to help you?”.
He smiled a little at her. “Well I’m sure it will be fine either way, right”
“Don’t say that!” She snapped, with tears brimming her blue eyes. “Don’t you know there’s people who care? Sam! Cas! Me for crying out loud! What do you think it would do to me if you just decided to give up on living!?”. She wanted to smack some sense into him but she knew what kind of pain he was in. She wiped away her tears roughly with her sleeve.

“I feel like crap…” He gave her a look, starting to think he woulnd survive this in the end
Grateful but quiet, Ivy thought carefully on her next words. “Why tell me but not your own flesh and blood? Most people would tell the people they care about what they’re feeling”. She questioned her sentence in more ways than one.
“How do you know I’m actually telling the truth?” He smiled weakly at her, lifting his head some. Honestly, he felt worse than crap, a lot worse
She chuckled and moved closer to him, so he wouldn't he to move anymore. "Because I know you Dean. You'd be surprised how much you've let in".

“Are you sure? He’s bound to come back in a while. We can just enjoy the way things are now” she asked, pulled out her phone anyway.
He gave her a look before shaking his head. “if you don’t want to…”
She shook her head and send replied to Sam. Telling him Dean was awake and should come back in. “Are you going to tell him how you really feel? What’s really going up there?” She sighed, already knowing his answer.
He shook his head slowly. “Nope.” Nor was Sam going to believe him, but it didnt exactly matter.
She sighed. Of course he wasn’t. This isn’t healthy for him, he’ll just end up drinking his organs to death, she thought angryily. “Then will you tell me?”.
