Antibody is LVSH’s first comeback in over half a year, and with their newest member Baek Kisul. To prove that the graduation of a member won’t pull them down, they’re coming back swinging with a new concept with two different albums, the DREAM version and the TAPE version. The MV also shows the girls as dream girls as well as edgy looking doctors. When asked about the concept, member Eden explained “Antibody means like.. it’s the cell that looks for viruses and destroys them, yeah? I feel like it’s a metaphor for LVSH as a group. With the scandals and members leaving.. it’s been hard on us, but we fight back against all this bad luck and hate and scandals and continue to just be us. Showing us as the doctors and nurses doing the heart surgery scene is a representation of that. We’re doing our best to give our LVSHuries positive vibes and prove that we’re doing our best. With the dream girls.. I actually came up with that, heh. In the dream scenes of the MV, I wanted to depict us as the image that we try to portray, and then emphasize it as well. Sei unnie is the innocent type and Spencer is seen as the rebel type and such.. we also did our best to continue this vibe throughout the songs on the album as well, such as the more rebellious songs like Whatever and Toy, or the innocent sounding songs matched with falling in love like Stranger and Help Me. Then there’s all the songs inbetween like the racy Candle, and the sexy sounding Miss Agent, which was written by me by the way, so keep that in mind. The album was also co produced by the LVSH members themselves, as well as Seojun and Knox sunbaenims. We even got Insu sunbaenim to feature!“
