I’m not sure if I should take requests at the moment but more probably not, sorry! I don’t always have the time and I don’t wanna make anybody wait for so long. Also, Dae-ho is a character I’m not very familiar with so I’m not quite sure how to write about him…
But!!!!! That doesn’t mean I’m going to forget this idea so fast :). I’ll probably keep it in mind for the future. Thank you for the request btw!
Are You Feeling Butterflies?
Ler! In-ho, Lee! Jun-ho
A/N: Hi there, I hope you’re all doing well! This is my first time posting a fic on here, on Tumblr. I feel like this isn’t good enough or at least not as much as I wish it was. Anyways, to whoever is reading this, I hope you enjoy it! :)
English isn’t my first language but I tried my best!
The parts before the tickling scene are a bit longer than expected, sorry for that. 😔
Summary: After a few weeks noticing that his little brother has been acting somewhat strangely, In-Ho decides that he’s going to get all the information out of him one way or another.
I suck at summaries, I know-
(In this fic In-Ho is in his early 30s and Jun-Ho is a teenager)
_______________________________________________
In-ho couldn’t remember exactly the last time he had seen his stepmother and younger brother face to face. Definitely more than a couple of weeks. He was always deeply invested in his work, and that usually ended up taking more of his time than he expected. But what could he say? He loved his job. But no more than his own family. That would never happen.
However, In-ho always managed to look for his family, even if he wasn’t physically present—not as much as he would like to. Every opportunity he had, he would take it to call or text them and make sure everything was fine. Mal-soon, his stepmother, answered all his calls every time he called her. They both had a sincere relationship since she converted into his new mother. In-ho was thankful for that. And she also was.
On the other hand, there was Jun-ho, his younger brother. Since this last was born they both were undeniably inseparable. Normally, they would had a conversation almost every single day. In-ho called him, and Jun-ho answered him. In-ho sent him a message, and Jun-ho replied. That simple. But now—something has changed. In-ho could tell. There weren’t any faster responses and the youngest barely called him either. And let me tell you, that was rare, very rare… And obviously, In-ho wasn’t going to let it pass so easily.
Finally, it came the day when In-ho, alongside his wife, were going to visit Mal-soon and Jun-ho together. The couple was now standing in front of the door of the small, familiar house they both knew so well, waiting for someone to open it for them. “Coming!” A familiar voice sounded inside. The door opened, “Oh, dears, you’re finally here!” It was Mal-soon, with that peculiar tone of warmth and welcoming she used when they were visiting. The oldest woman made a quick movement, indicating to them to go inside.
The next ten minutes led to a quiet conversation. Just talking about everyday things like work, family, friends… But In-ho had something—or rather someone—around in his mind. And obviously, he changed the topic. “Eomeoni, it’s Jun-ho doing well? Lately he barely answers my calls.” The elder woman looked at him a bit disconcerted. “Is that so? Don’t mind him, dear. He’s at that age.” She said while she prepared the tea for the three of them.
“Mmh...” The man hummed. “Well, at least he could try to pretend he still cares for me.” He continued, with a smirk on his face. Mal-soon let out a low laugh. “Oh, you know how teenagers are at this age. And don’t tell him I told you this, but…” The woman lowered her tone. “I think he’s in love.” A smile escaped from In-ho’s lips. “He can be so ready to read sometimes.”
“Ohhh… Maybe he even has a girlfriend, who knows?” In-ho’s wife commented, with an amused expression. The man glanced at the woman in front of him with a raised eyebrow and with that slight playful light in his eyes. “Guess I’ll have to investigate that.” He blinked an eye to her, already standing up from his chair. Of course, this woman would always be his right-hand man. “Please, let us know in detail.” She said with a simple smile, letting a small laugh out. “Don’t take too much advantage of him, dear.” His stepmother let it out aloud and In-ho just smiled at the little advice.
He walked towards Jun-ho’s bedroom. The room’s door was opened, then he poked his head out but there was no sight of the teenager. At that moment, the young man heard something coming from the room next door. In-ho recognised it immediately. His old room. He noticed the door was slightly open and walked there without hesitation. Slowly he started to open it.
Then he saw him. His little brother.
And for some strange reason, there was a bunch of In-ho’s old clothes, the ones he wore when he was Jun-ho’s age or maybe a little bit older, all of it thrown on the floor, while the wardrobe was opened wide. And there was Jun-ho in the middle of the disaster, one knee bent.
In-ho crossed his arms as he leaned on the doorframe, one eyebrow raised. “Ahem.”
Jun-ho raised his head and looked up the exact moments he heard that familiar voice. “Hyung…” The young boy was still wearing his school uniform, with his tie undone and his hair a mess. “What a disaster you are…” The elder murmured, almost for himself. “What were you doing exactly?”
“Nothing.” The teenager said, getting to his feet quickly. “Nothing? This doesn’t look like nothing.” In-ho responded while his gaze swept over the chaos that was now lying now on the room’s floor and shifted it back to the younger of the two.
“I was… looking for more clothes.” Jun-ho said, aparting his sight from his older brother’s.
“And why is that exactly? Don’t you already have enough clothes?”
“Not really—”
Before he could say more, In-ho ran a hand to Jun-ho’s side, making him squirm slightly. “You’re sure?” He knew perfectly how things were gonna turn. He just wanted to annoy him, like a good big brother should do—or so he liked to tell himself. And to be fair, he was already missing spending some time with his baby brother.
“Hyung—D-don’t do thahat!” the boy said quickly as he laughed nervously.
“Namdongsaeng, you should ask for my permission first, you know.” In-ho started to nudge him softly towards the bedroom’s bed.
“Nahaha—Stop, stop—!” Jun-ho blurted, his words being interrupted by his own nervous laughter.
“Oh, no, no, no, no. Not until you tell me why you wanted my old clothes…” In-ho taunted. “Come on! Tell me and I’ll let you go.” In-Ho ‘advertised’ him in a teasing tone, now holding him by the wrists. But the only thing Jun-ho could do now was try to free himself from his brother’s hold.
The older had already caught him in his own grip, pinning him down, almost in a ridiculous way for the youngest. “You’re gonna have to tell me what’s happening, namdongsaeng!” He started to pinch Jun-ho’s ribs, an area he knew too well. “You barely answer my messages now,” In-ho insisted. “What’s going on?”
“Nahahaha— I-it’s nohohothihing—” Desperate giggles escaped involuntarily from the teenager’s mouth. In-ho chuckled at the sigh in front of him. Gosh, it was just more than a few weeks not seeing his dearly brother but he was already missing to pick on him. And it was so easy for him to get some laughs and smiles out of the boy—something he loved to hear and see though.
In-ho moved one of his hands from Jun-ho’s ribs to his waist while the other was busy tickling one of the other’s knees.
“PlehehEeaseee— H-hyuuUng! Staha—” Jun-ho wasn’t capable of finishing the sentence, in part because of the sensations he was getting and his own laugh, but also because of his elder brother, who interrupted him. “I think you must be lying to me, ‘cause a little bird told me someone’s falling in love…”
“ShuhuUhut u-up!”
“Ah? Then it’s true? Awww” The older kept mocking him, now changing the spot. His neck. Another bad spot for the poor kid. Jun-ho’s little and desperate giggles started becoming more fluent and a bit louder, without being outrageous.
“You know, namdongsaeng… One of the symptoms of being in love is to feel butterflies in your stomach” The man declared, intensifying the “attack”. “Are you feeling butterflies?”
“Leheheave mehehEhe alOohohone!” He said through his tittering. Jun-ho would never admit it out loud, but it may be right that he always enjoys this type of moments with his big brother. Even if it’s just a little. Though those stupid teasings were kind of embarrassing him.
After a few minutes, In-ho decided to stop and give the youngest a break. Jun-ho’s cheeks were now tinted a light red and there was still a wide smile on his face.
In-ho let himself fall next to him, while Jun-ho tried to catch his breath.
“When you get married I will tell your wife you’re ticklish.”
The teen shot him a threatening look and In-ho just murmured a laugh.
Yep, this was exactly what they both needed.
I wonder what happened the day Inho realized that he had to look up to look at Junho
@ryoko-loves-roses HERE ARE THE IN-HO’S HEADCANONS !!!!
In-Ho’s Tickle Headcanons
• Okay, In-Ho is an EVIL ler. That’s a fact. But when I say EVIL, I really mean it. Personally, I would say he’s a 100% ler without doubting, but I also have to say that everyone has their weaknesses and this man is no exception.
• His neck is his WORST spot and many pokes in a row in his ribs can make him let out a few laughs.
• Clearly, his favourite person to tickle is none other than his dearly little brother Jun-Ho. Is worth to mention that he was such a playful ler to him, though Jun-Ho couldn’t even try to give him back a few tickles because the man would destroy him with MORE tickles.
• A fun fact is that one time Jung-Bae tried to tickle In-Ho and the poor man just received a long death stare with an awkward silence.
• And now some “fluff”, In-Ho’s second favourite person to tickle was his dearly wife 🥹. Only the sound of her laughter made him melt. He really tickled her often. It was like part of his love language <3.
• Since he was a cop, I feel like he liked to do “ticklish interrogations” with his lees (Jun-Ho and his wife) but obviously in a playful way. For example, sometimes, if he knew Jun-Ho was hiding anything from him he would just start tickling him this way.
• More than once his ‘annoying older brother’ energy would come out and whenever he visited Mal-Soon and Jun-Ho in the mornings to eat breakfast together, he would immediately go wake up Jun-Ho with tickles.
And right now I couldn’t think of more so I guess that’s all I have to say about In-Ho!
I’m currently working on a Hwang Bros tkl fic, if I published it would someone read it?
I wanted to try writing something and publishing it here, but I think it’s better to start with something else at the moment. So, what better way to start than with some headcanons?
Jun-Ho’s Tickle Headcanons
• First of all, I feel like he’s super ticklishhhh. I just like the idea of him being that kind of guy who’s always being so serious but a simple touch can literally DESTROY him. And seriously- I find him so ticklish, don’t ask me why.
• For obvious reasons, his MAJOR ler is In-Ho.
• I think his laugh sounds like… too good. At first he’s all giggles but then his laugh can be a little high-pitched without being hysterical, I don’t know if that makes sense… 😭
• For some reason I view him as a kind of bratty lee (but it depends on who’s tickling him).
• His neck, ribs and hips are his DEADLY spots. Just a small, simple touch on any of those areas and he’s gonna be already snuggling and giggling.
• His back can be a bit ticklish too… oh- and also his knees
• I saw other people commenting the fact that raspberries bring him absolutely mad and let me you that I am 100% agree. Nothing more to add.
• Teases will make him laugh harder.
• Wow I almost forgot but- he snorts. Not much. But if the tickles are being intense, ohhh man… (btw that’s cute)
• I also think he’s embarrassed of admit he’s ticklish or just the simple thought of him being ticklish makes his face turn red.
• Woo-Seok discovered Jun-Ho was ticklish in the most ridiculous and annoying way possible, at least for Jun-Ho. In fact, Woo-Seok was the first person who tickled him after a long time. (Also the second person who tickled him was Kim, I just know it 👀)
Well, this is just for pure fun! I was thinking to write and publish a squid game tkl fic but I don’t know if someone’s interested (I don’t even know if someone’s gonna read this post 😂) but yeah well… I guess it all depends. Byeee 💕
