So, today I'll take some time to talk about this damn drama, Missing 9. I started watching it last week, and it's a very interesting and action-packed drama. In case you didn't know, one of the "missing 9" is played by our one and only Park Chanyeol. His character's name, amusingly, is Yeol, but I think that's pure coincidence. Ah, Lee Yeol, such a good child.. I think it's now time to put up that SPOILER ALERT. If you didn't watch the drama and intend to, or if you didn't watch past episode 4, you shouldn't read this. Yes, I want to talk about Yeol's...death. I almost cried at that part, it was so sad! Not only because he is played by my beloved Chanyeol, but because Yeol as a character. All he did was care for others and suffer because of that. He risked his life and even lost it to help other people. He even managed to survive alone for quite some time after the plane crash, before meeting Joon Oh and Bong Hee. He was so kind and selfless.. he was the complete opposite of that damn jerk.. Tae Oh. I hate that guy with all my heart. Such a selfish piece of shit, he freaking killed two people! One of them was his former bandmate, former friend! And he killed him because he didn't want Yeol and the others to rescue Bong Hee and So Hee.. I really wished Joon Oh or someone else killed him when they had the chance.. Or maybe he drowned or fell off a cliff, so I wouldn't make Joon Oh a criminal. Now leaving that bastard aside, I was talking about Yeol.. I had so much hope.. I thought that "maybe he didn't hit his head so hard and maybe he would just wake up on an island, severely injured, but still alive". I hoped this would happen, but I've been told the sad truth. It's just so sad that people like him have to die, and those like Tae Oh get to live. I imagine it's going to be really hard for Joon Oh to accept as well.. Oh, I nearly forgot to mention this! Today, Chanyeol posted on his Instagram a video. They were filming Missing Nine, and Chanyeol was talking to... Ki Joon, I think (I may be wrong). The caption was "This is not filming" or something. It will probably be a flashback, but still, it's good to see that he will still have a small part. Such a long and depressing post.. To end it on a positive note, if you have the same problem as me, just think of Chanyeol as the real person. Even if he died in this drama, it's his debut as an actor, and he got a pretty important role. He played his character really well, so this is a very big step for him. We'll most likely be seeing Chanyeol in more dramas in the future, so lets just wait and be proud of our Chanyeol. 👍🏻
