secret santa event interest check!

hello everyone! if you were in the tags last summer, you may remember me from the Safe KHR Week i hosted last year!

though i’ve missed the timing to do another KHR week this summer, i wanted to do an interest check to see if anyone would like to participate in a secret santa event. sign up would be around the end of september/early october and the exchange would take place around the end of december/beginning of january, giving participants around three months to complete whatever they’d like (a fic or a piece of fanart for this event) for the exchange.

the form below will have questions regarding the secret santa AND a valentine’s/general spring event i’m also thinking of hosting. please fill it out the form and feel free to reblog this post/share this post with friends if you’re interested in participating in this or future events :)

hello everyone, i’m sorry to clog up the tag with these posts, but in case anyone who hasn’t seen my original announcement is interested, i’m thinking of holding a secret santa event for khr!

to clarify since a few people were concerned, this event will be a “safe” event (for lack of a better word), meaning that nothing containing incest, minor/adult, etc. will be allowed.

ideally, if the interest check does well enough, i will post the sign up form in the first week of october (1st to the 8th). this sign up form will allow you to request certain characters, ships, and prompts/themes as well as inform your secret santa of any triggers, characters/ships you dislike, or themes you aren’t interested in seeing. this will also be the place to inform me (the host) of any special concerns you may have with your assignment. secret santa assignments should follow just a few days after this, meaning participants will have a little under 3 months to complete their secret santa gift

if the interest check doesn’t do well enough, i’ve decided to host a spring event in its stead, which will take place during valentine’s week 2023 (february 12th to  the 18th). the theme of this spring event is still undecided but can be voted on in the secret santa interest check for those interested!

secret santa clarifications!

in the survey that i posted a few days ago for the secret santa event i’m currently doing an interest check for (which you can still fill out here, please do if you’re interested in this event or future ones!!), one of the write in concerns was whether this will also be a “safe” (meaning no minor/adult, incest, etc.) event like the last khr week i hosted.

i want to be clear that every event this blog will potentially host will be a “safe” event regardless of whether it’s in the title or not.

so, if this was a concern for any of you, please rest assured this will be a “safe” event if i go through with hosting it :)

Last Safe KHR Week Reminder!

Hello everyone! Today is the last day before Safe KHR Week begins!

For those not in the know, this is a multi media KHR fan event that bans all works that include minor/adult, incest, and other similar themes. I ask that you please review our rules before sending any asks, however, I’d like to clarify on this last reminder that: This event does not have a tag, if you want to “submit” something to the event you have to tag @safe-khr-week.

Though I honestly don’t think anyone would be petty enough, this is to ensure that no one posts banned content to the tag and all content will be clean (at least through the blog’s feed).

The event will last from July 11th to July 17th, though it’s not a hard deadline and I’ll be accepting anything I’m tagged in even a week after the event. Our theme is flowers (though both the theme and prompts are completely optional). Each reminder has an alternative prompt (prompt list here) to give creators more variety. The last prompt for this event is:
