The Kagura- are we paying attention? (Secrets of Itomori temple II) (Mitsuha and Yotsuha perform a ritual dance at the temple. This is a ‘Miko kagura’- a dance performed at Shinto temples where the Miko “channeled the kami, speaking, singing, and dancing AS the god…” (Wikipedia)) (What’s REALLY fascinating is that if you look carefully, Mitsuha and Yotsuha perform a dance where two bodies (symbolised by bells) fly through the air with long red tails, in utter harmony, before finally splitting apart and coming to Earth…) (Sound familiar? That’s right.) (They are telling the story of the comet. Right there. The end positions are a reversed image of the mural in the Gods home. The comet split into two. The last couple of pictures above- follow the gold bells). (I never realised… but… there it is…) (This is Tiamats story, and as it’s a kagura, this is Tiamat’s story from Tiamat’s point of view.)
