I like the idea of Matt being really nice and playing the Good Guy to Near solely to piss Mello off because he finds it funny. Mello would think Matt is falling for Near’s Evil Tricks And Schemes. (He doesn’t know who he’s more jealous of and it bothers him Immensely). Maybe eventually Matt will start to enjoy hanging around Near for reasons he could never have Guessed….

Explaining why Zane keeps changing skin tone so much:

- Pale Zane (Season 1) He doesn't go outside much, he got severe vitamin D deficiency.

- Sick Victorian Zane (after season 4) He has a little bit of trauma from being brainwashed by Ein, got really depressed, dropped a lot of weight and stopped going outside. This is like the saddest version of him, this is also when he starts getting close to KC.

- Healing Zane (season 5) Gained some weight back and also started going outside again, that's why he looks tanner.

I was gonna do another drawing of Zane and Kawaii-chan during season 2. (but I got lazy, here's the sketch tho)

oh they mean so much to me. Zane~Chan/Zana my original otp. ooh they mean SOOO Much to me.

i dont have a lot to say about my Zana art ToT ive kinda sorta ended up yammering about it outside of tumblr, and im. i get a bit shy when i explain myself all over again ToT

hehehe.. what i can say is i was rather excited to draw Zane with some longer hair.. all of these pieces take place after When Angels Fall, so both him and Nana have been together for at least a while!

i wanted to design them with each others aesthetics in mind, so i did the best thing i know how!! SHAPE LANGUAGE!!

while i always draw Zane with sharp corners, i decided to soften them a little. make him look more approachable. give him a big cute grin. stuff that makes him rounder..

meanwhile, KC has sharp, curly hair. shes got her ruffles, but she seems pointier. not only that, her aesthetics are a little less full on cutesy..

in short!! THEY AFFECT EACHOTHER RAHH!!! THEY MATCH EACHOTHER!! THEY BRING OUT THE OTHERS TRUEST SELF!! THEY CAN BE WHO THEY REALLY ARE UNDERNEATH ALL THAT!!

and they have slightly more alternative fashion.. heh.. hehehe.. heh..

oh!! also, you guys get to have these sketches i did when i was reconfiguring Nana's design!! i just wanted to draw her in a way i would like, and, well!! i landed on something i thought was delicious and ran with it!!!
