But he was already closing the laptop and getting up, because thinking on it further, being alone in the house or worse, alone with goon #1 and goon #2, were much worse options. “Can I sit in the car and wait for you to be done dancing or whatever it is you do in there?”
“Of course you do.” Wolfgang nodded seriously. He snorted softly at Hardsion and nudged him out the door. “No, but I know the owner, I’ll get you a table in the corner.” He compromised. The club he’d wanted to go to wasn’t as wild as some of his choices could have been, he figured that counted for something. “I’m meeting a friend.” He hadn’t exactly sprung Hardsion on Felix yet beyond that he now had someone looking into the electronic side of the business, but now was as good a time as any.
