As silly as this is, it shows that TRAs don't really believe their own rhetoric, all the "X is anyone who identifies as X", "sex is on a spectrum" and "you shouldn't define people by their genitals" immediately evaporates when an AFAB transwoman comes at them. Suddenly they are fully aware that humans are a sexually dimorphic species and language needs to reflect this.

It's why trying to deconstruct their arguments and explain to them why they are wrong is such a waste of time. They already know, they just don't care.

so basically, a big right-wing 78-year-old female politician in the UK, Ann Widdecombe, was brutally murdered in her own home 2 days ago

she was beaten to death by a “white male” who is still at large — clearly a politically motivated attack

yet, every left-wing person on social media is like: “murder is terrible, but let’s not forget she was a cunt with terrible views”

completely overlooking the fact that a male killed a woman with his bare hands — literally beat her to death, which is an incredibly personal and passionate way to kill someone — and that’s about the most conservative and evil thing any human can do

it’s clear why he killed a right-wing woman, and not a right-wing male

also, it’s interesting how many people are willing to overlook a male’s actions (murder) because apparently a woman’s opinions are worse

This is a real issue that's affecting women in healthcare because transmascs are sold the idea that there's 0 downsides to changing sex marker on our files. This causes transmascs and detrans women to face sexual assault in medical settings, improper medical care, and even death. Why do you believe "you asked for it" is ok when women identify as trans?

Besides... Doctors not reading the files hurts and kills women who aren't transmasc too. This is not just a little "gotcha" moment. This is something that affects all women. A little solidarity between transmascs, detrans women, and women who were never trans would be a lot better than "this is what you wanted". No, what they wanted was a doctor who would read their damn file.

It's almost like biology matters in medical settings 🤔 and while yeah the doctors/nurses should be doing a full reading of your charts, it doesn't help that you're actively trying to deceive them and everyone by pretending to be the other sex.

This also has to do with language. If the chart says "male" or has a male sex marker, when you ask for bathroom assistance, the nurse is going to bring you the male bathroom assistance tools. Hospitals are overwhelmed right now, nurses are overwhelmed. This woman made their job harder and is now shaming them for getting the supplies for the sex marker she changed.

There's something that bothers me about the smug "haha, those stupid nurses didn't realize I am female" energy. Maybe they actually didn't realize it, but maybe they did and treated her like she was male anyway because they didn't want to deal with the HR fallout of not playing pretend.

Every other day there's some smug post on here to the effect of "those stupid cis people don't realize that we literally change sex and are biologically the same as the sex we are currently claiming to be." There's enough people in the trans movement who have made it clear that we are supposed to pretend that we are supposed to pretend they are the opposite sex at all times. But sometimes they stop feeling like they want to be treated that way and then they act like we are the stupid ones for following the rules they set.

I feel like this too, but then I remember that the more women that are saying something, the faster those ideas get around. Maybe one user on here wrote a 6-paragraph well-sourced post about a topic, but seeing a crude couple of sentences saying the idea that I'd never thought about before can also introduce me to something new and get me thinking before I find the more fleshed-out works. There's strength in numbers and everyone is needed, it wouldn't be the same if it was only the 20 most eloquent people on here making posts, that would be very boring!

Also we all respond differently to words. The way I write may be what someone needed to get a concept, or to feel comfortable reading. And it's the same for every writer : our words might speak to someone and if we don't write in our own words, we might never connect with people who didn't find what they needed elsewhere.

Because there is no winning, as we know it. And the concept of debating on behalf of feminism is to enter an argument in which you argue for your own humanity. The phrase, "Womyn deserve rights," really isn't something you (should) have to defend. It's simply a fact.

And for them, every word out of your mouth must further your point without affirming their biases. The "debate" is rigged from the start.

I work (and walk) on a college campus. I’ve lost count of how many men I’ve smacked shoulders with.

Recently, I was standing outside my son’s classroom waiting to talk to his teacher. I stood on one side of the hallway, not even close to the center. At some point, a man came walking along. I was standing right in his path, but the hallway was empty, so I logically expected him to swerve around me. Instead he kept walking right toward me, got to me, and stopped, as if waiting for me to get out of his way. I didn’t; I just smiled politely at him. He finally walked around me, clearly annoyed that I hadn’t leapt out of his manly path.

Now I’m wishing I’d leapt aside, taken off my jacket and laid it on the floor before him, then bowed deeply and said, “My Liege!”

Honestly this post changed how I carry myself when walking alone in public, or in a situation where I’m the one leading. People definitely move for the murder gaze.

Confirmed. I once had to rush back inside a convention hall as the con was closing in order to a retrieve a sick friend’s medication, and I didn’t understand why people in the crowd were jumping out of my way (literally—one guy vaulted a table) until I realized I was dressed as the Winter Soldier and doing the Murder Walk because that’s just how I walk in those boots. I got the meds, got out, and made a mental note.

I repeated the experiment later, wearing the boots but otherwise my usual clothing and mimicking the expression I thought I’d had at that moment. People parted like I was Charlton Heston.

I now wear that style of boots whenever possible. I recently had a man do a double-take as I walked by and ask me, politely, where I had served because I “looked like a soldier.” I’m not current or former military. I was wearing a flowy purple peasant top and looked as un-soldierlike as possible.

Moral of the story: wear comfortable shoes, square your shoulders, and walk like you’ve been sent to murder Captain America.

Every time women adapt in order to overcome the strength disparity between us and men as a way to defend ourselves in a worst case scenario or avoid danger altogether... That adaptation comes to be seen as a sign of cowardice by men.

Poison being a "woman's weapon" in a disparaging sense. Self defense laws expecting people to act in ways that are only really accessible to men and women who choose to strike at a later time being demonized. Gossiping to turn the community against him and seek refuge that way (plus making sure no other woman is blindsided by his behavior) being seen as trashy.

More modernly, leaving someone over text being considered a terrible and inconsiderate thing. I remember this being a plot point in so many cartoons and tv series for tweens growing up. It's so insidious to brainwash girls into believing they owe someone, usually a guy, a "dignified breakup" when that has so often gotten women killed. I dunno, men trying to socially punish women for not playing their honor games when they've never acted honorably towards us has been pissing me off as of late.

You are at home watching TV and on comes an advert. It features a young man having a drink with his male friends when they see a charming woman enter the bar. The man walks up to her and tries to seduce her but she ignores him. He looks back at his friends who are laughing at him. Suddenly, he leaves the bar and comes back later on with his hair dyed blue. The woman instantly throws herself at him, kissing him and all the men in the bar are stunned. “Go blue” is the name of the hair dye brand, for men only. The next day on the radio you hear another advert promoting blue hair for men in which a woman explains why blue hair gets her instantly turned on. Going on Facebook, articles are shared : “10 reasons why men with blue hair are the sexiest”. Another article is titled : “why women are turned off by natural hair colour”. Yet another article from a website called “OpenMindNaturaScience” explains why women’s brain is pleased with the colour blue and how this colour makes them happy because of biological reasons. On the subway, a poster shows a sexy man with blue hair running away from dozens of female models who all want a piece of him. Day after day the medias keep focusing on women’s preferences, especially their attraction towards the colour blue and blue hair. And little by little, all the men around you dye their hair blue. The bus driver, the customer, your boss, your friend, the man on the street. They all have different shades of blue hair. Some are even dressed in blue, buy blue cars, wear blue make up.

And you see all these men and start thinking : “They’re so obviously trying to please us women, they know that’s what we like, this is all for us. Look at this guy with his blue shoes and blue hair, obviously trying to get our attention… and this guy at work who pretends he doesn’t like me, he’s wearing blue nail polish, he’s trying to look tough, he might not even like me but he’s still trying to please me. They’re working so hard to look good for us, this guy is rude but look at his blue hair ! He knows his place deep down. I go on the subway and I see all these men with blue hair, obviously responding to our desires, obviously interested in seducing us. All this time and money and keeping it perfectly blue every day. They think about us all the time. They are desperate to be liked by me. They ARE for ME.”

And that’s how men see feminine women.
