Hi! I was wondering if you had any resources specifically for dealing with littles? Or perhaps someone who could talk with us on an individual (so to speak) basis? We have a four-month-old, a five-year-old, and six teenagers, many with special needs. There are only four adults around, and we're about to start college. There are only four adults to go around, and we're headed to college within the next year. Are there any resources specifically for dealing with littles? Or perhaps someone who could work with us independently? Thanks.

I know it’s hard being PoC. I know it’s a little confusing or flustering sometimes being non-human. So the frustration of the two combined are going to get to you every once in a while.

This is a place to deal with whatever racism or kin-hate might come up because these are both important to deal with, whether or not they show up separately or together.

This is a place to introduce yourself to other ‘kin of colour and white/human allies that follow and support us.

Birthday gift from my Aunt and her system.

My aunt is co-conscious with most of her system today. They gave me a birthday card and told me I was the best nephew ever. <3 It was really sweet, I told them I loved them all to death. Also, The littles gave me one of they’re coloring books as a present, haha.

It was really sweet of all of them. I’m going to do something special for my aunt’s birthday in a few months. I’m going to give each of them presents. :)

My mom bought me a strawberry cake. I love strawberry. But, I’m going to have to wait for the rest of my family to show up, so we can eat it. I wish I could eat it, right now.

I’m still a little nervous about having almost all of my family in here. I can’t be around large groups people, It always triggers my panic attacks. It’s one of the reason why I usually don’t do birthdays.

I hope it doesn’t happen. Not on my birthday. I want to have a good birthday for once.

I’m about to do some meditation before they arrive to help relax a little bit.

We had the oddest experience today.

Someone excepted us.

Not someone else like us. Not someone with the same…family system…

Someone who is complete normal. Someone who isn’t like us.

She excepted us completely and even said she would try to be there for us if she could.

She didn’t run. She didn’t scream murder. She didn’t call us insane murderers. She didn’t try to call the old bill…

She just…accepted us.

It’s a strange feeling being excepted by someone so close to Mimi. It doesn’t feel real. 

We’ve never been accepted for being like this… Never…

Yet, she just…excepted us…

Jacob: I'd probably keep this little guy. After all, there's no tags on it.

Dani: Mike, can we keep it?

Dani: Please? Please? OH PLEEEEEEAAAASE?

Mike: ...Um... Well it stays near our house all of the time... It can be an outdoor pet. Our kitten that stays outside. Don't forget about Thayer's allergies.

I really love your blog.  It's all about happy plurality in a DID or natural system.  Which I like.  Because even though my system isn't always happy..we get along better than a lot that I see.  More communication.  With more communication comes more doubt from others.  And I wanted to let you or anyone know that just because you have better communication or understanding or less understanding and someone doubts that it's real.  Or you doub't that it's real.  Don't stress.  You know what is going on.  You know it's real.  And I want you to know that lots experience that feeling, and if someone tells you you're faking, don't take it to heart.  THey too just don't understand.  It's the way people are.  <3  Love, Kaila and friends.
