I think it’s going slower this time bc since the fandom is already established people already have ongoing projects in their queue whereas before it was a brand new thing to jump into. But I know several writers who are planning Zarie fics and I think I saw one come up on AO3 earlier! In the meantime encourage your faves by leaving comments on their already published works & posting fic prompts to give them ideas!

Hey hi your post about waiting for authors to write Zarie fanfic was EXTREMELY rude. The episodes literally came out five days ago. Why don’t you try writing something if you’re so desperate for content, see how long it takes you. Not to mention that most writers already have projects they’re working on and they’re not gonna drop those to answer demands from ungrateful, entitled fans.

OH MY GOD i had no idea people were gonna get so angry at me!!!! i wrote that after refreshing the ao3 tag for the 20th time in a day hoping something would come up!! i figured if i came on here (which i don’t do very often) and tried to..... idk spur people on?? then the writers would know people are looking forward to their works and stuff i literally said that with no intention of hurting anyone and that last part about it being enough material was just a joke. i understand how that came out in a very rude way, i still feel the same (same as in i’m still anxious out my mind waiting for what people come up with for this couple), but i’m sorry if i offended any writers!!!

might I suggest writing a story yourself? I mean this in the kindest way possible, but becoming a creator instead of just a consumer is the quickest way to solve your problem. as it happens, I'm working on a Mambo Spellman fic as we speak, but phrasing it that I've been “waiting” and that their kiss is “enough material to work with” is leaving a bad taste in my mouth about it all
