if there was such thing, a silver spoon would have tarnished in sage’s mouth. she was born the apple of her mother’s eye, the sweetest american addition to the arnault and the astor families.
it was in new york that she was born, but the world that raised her. her earliest memories are of the warm sun setting over the candy coloured houses of the maldives and the heady taste of pistachio gelato melting in a cup as she wandered cobbled streets of florence.
her father was not wealthy, he wasn’t born into the same world that her mother was- that it was declared that sage belonged to, but still, she adored him: in fact, one thing has reigned true with sage since birth, she adores everyone.
the best schools in the city were where she learned how to play well with others. she learned discipline through ballet and piano lessons, but her true love came from behind a canvas. it was painting that she loved the most. a passion found so early is considered a blessing, especially when one comes from a family as fortunate as her own. practicality was never brought up when it came to her choice in major when she was picking universities to attend.
at rye, she lives in the town, outside of the gates of linacre where she hears that trouble brews as thick as contempt does. instead, sage prefers her apartment above a coffee shop, filling it with homey possessions, with music, and with art. fresh flowers always sit on the table, and a smile always sits on her face.
she’s the first girl to offer you her hand if you’ve fallen, she will always laugh politely at a poorly delivered joke. over and over sage insists that status and wealth mean nothing to her, but naivety runs through her in the same way blood does. she may insist that it doesn’t matter, but her life has been pressed and moulded into something perfect just because of it.
careless with her possessions but undeniably sweet, sage is looking for pals in the art departments, perhaps people who live in town/neighbours, or even an old roomie from first year! lots of connections are up for grabs and i’m so down to clown 🥰
( diana silvers, she/her + cis female, 22 ) | well of course you’ve heard of ( sage walsh ), right? they are a ( second ) year student living in ( town of rye ) taking ( fine arts ) at rye university, and as per the blinds, they are like ( acrylic paint flecks on a cartier bracelet, daisies woven into a crown to be lost in dark hair, hushed secrets and flushed cheeks with confessions only ever spilled into the embroidered cover of a pillow ), but that may just be because they know ( REDACTED ). ( sam, she/her, 21+, est )
