Directed by Kyle Balda and written by Craig Mazin, it transposes the international bestseller by German writer Leonie Swann into a film that defies genre labels, positioning itself as a hybrid between live-action and CGI dosed with extreme intelligence.

The challenge of adapting a story where the protagonists are a group of sheep who solve a murder required an authorial hand capable of balancing the absurdity of the premise with the seriousness of a true detective mystery.

I'm so proud of cinema, sometimes.

I just saw the movie it’s so good! This is coming from someone whose favorite animal is a SHEEP! The way they tackle death is so sad yet so endearing me and my friends were in tears towards the end! 10/10 great movie I will kill anyone who says otherwise….
