I’m posting this to share evidence of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa getting bombed.

Military personnel practice war on the bases they’ve set up on Hawai'i, and that includes shooting these bombs into Mauna (as you can see in the Department of Defense’s photos from their photojournalism series (4th and 5th photos, Mauna Loa). The remaining photos were taken by Malia Hulleman, a resident, native, and activist of Hawai'i.

Military shoot bombs into the Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa for days at a time without any regard to environmental consequence nor any respect for the people who live there. This is completely irresponsible and inconsiderate, and very harmful to the island and Hawai'i as a whole.

The violence needs to stop.

Protect Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa. Take care of Hawai'i. Take care of the earth. Stop the needless bombing.
