𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆 𝑰𝒏𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏
Saint Gerard's offers many courses specifically formulated to test and perfect each student's unique abilities, training them for a future worth living. Since there is a diverse range of abilities, some even specific to only deviant, each student is subjected to numerous placement test at the beginning of their first term. After placement testing each Deviant will be placed in one of the following ability units;
Conveys - Those who can move through realities in ways other than human (Flight, Teleportation, Portal Creation)
Metamorphs - Those who can change their physical form at will
Ergokinetics - Those who can manipulate the natural energy of the Earth
Elementals - Those who can manipulate the four elements (Air, Earth, Water, Fire)
Psychics - Those who can use the human brain to their advantage (Mind Reading, Mind Manipulation, Telekenesis)
Somatics - Those who must interact with something in the physical world in order to harness their abilities
Eccentrics - Those who cannot be classified under any of these, with abilities unique to them
Each Deviant will also be assigned a college level mentor from their ability unit.
𝑨 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒇 𝑯𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑺𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒕 𝑮𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒓𝒅'𝒔 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒔
In November of 1978, just two years after the United States Of American's nationwide mass exposure of Deviants, David Jameson founded the very first institute dedicated to schooling and providing safety to any and all Deviants. Many speculate the untimely passing of Jameson's own deviant son was the tragic inspiration for providing deviants with a school where they could not only practice, but also master their abilities, in a safe, judgement free environment. Although, the location and students of Saint Gerard's school for Deviants is kept severely guarded, it's rumored that former alumni and alumnae of the school have gone on to lead normal lives within our society.
The American government painted the Deviant's abilities as ungodly, inhuman attributes that were actively putting normal citizens in harm's way. Making them out to be criminals who purposely changed their genetic code in attempt to build an army that could overthrow the current Anerican government. In result, innocent Deviants were hunted by the American military, then later executed without so much as a court hearing. Not long after that, the remaining deviants were forced into hiding, where they'd stay until Saint Gerard's opened it's doors. It is unknown how those with abilities are accepted into the school, though there are many theories that circulate the media.
