hi! my name is zeph (he/him), a filipino graphic designer that specializes in creating character templates both on google docs and photoshop. since i've been doing graphic design on tumblr for a while now, i've decided to make my commission form available. access the link below! i'm pleased to work with you eventually.

furthermore, i'm on the process of revamping my tumblr blog, so notice a couple changes! this will also replace my current pinned post.
hi! quick q, where do you get the elements in your templates from? are they public domain/f2u even commercially?
hi! most of my templates use elements made through google drawings &/or photoshop but some of the elements i use are found through public domain. one of the main sites i use for HD graphics & textures is resource boy.
recent updates to google docs have made it difficult to select images and replace them. i decided to share here the methods you can use to edit images on google docs:
METHOD ONE: NEXT GRAPHIC SHORTCUT (WINDOWS + macOS)
this method basically helps you pick out an individual image out of the entire doc which makes it easier to edit specific elements or recoloring an aspect of the document. i find that this helps in picking out images that are hard to grab.
WINDOWS:
right click, then select image
press "alt" + "ctrl,"
then "n" + "g" (simultaneously)
to choose the next image, press "n" + "g" again together.
macOS:
this is the same as the windows version, just without the alt key.
right click, then select image
press "ctrl" + "cmd,"
then "n" + "g" (simultaneously)
to choose the next image, press "n" + "g" again together.
in this context: "n" means next and "g" means graphic. to go back to a previous graphic, you can replace "n" with "p" for previous.
for this method, going through the images should look like this:
apologies if the GIF goes too fast! again. this is how going through the doc should look like if you go through the graphics one after the other.
METHOD TWO: SHRINKING THE BG IMAGE (WINDOWS + macOS)
this method is the easiest and the most self-explanatory. this is also useful in the case where one image takes up the entire background. this can be done in any platform.
right click, then select image,
drag the background image down (or up) until it is no longer covering the top (or bottom) of the image you want to click,
once you’re done editing, drag the image back to full size.
this should look like this:
either way, these two methods share the same purpose and can be used in conjunction with another. i decided to share these as a lot of this information was shared through DMs and asks, i decided to make a dedicated post for it so it'll be easier to refer to.
still, if it may seem confusing, do not hesitate to DM me here on tumblr or shoot me an ask and i'll answer! i hope this helps you in editing your character templates.
well, it's been a long time! with my return, i wanted to give you ASMODEUS—a google doc that is very vampiric, monochrome, and spacious for all the text you may need. it's gothic and extremely moody, perfect for ghouls.

new year, new doc! have you missed me? lucifer is vastly different to what i used to have. slightly vampiric and beautiful in red with slight motifs of roses. romantic in all ways, elegant. it's clean, almost magazine-like. perfect for those who seek out docs with less frills.

my first paid doc, and this time i tried to make something different. uriel is pastel and very pink. but you could change the color however you like.
thank you @lemondaydream! for helping me with everything technical, from helping me set up my shop and even the drawings in this doc. without you, i probably wouldn't have finished this at all.

i've been starting to feel the summer heat, so why not create something a lil' refreshing? faith is tropical mixed with a little bit of y2k goodness. everything's made in drawings so EVERYTHING is completely editable and customizable ( even the fruits! ). she's bright, easy to edit, and definitely looks a bit edible!

woah, it's been a while! have you missed me? this doc has been occupying my time ... and here it is! a matching doc to lemondaydream's mandarin. it's dark, graphic, grungy, and most importantly — very red. a stark contrast to mandarin's bright yellows and whites. i really love this doc, mainly because of how graphic it is, how in-your-face it is. it's something i've never done before. and thank you, @lemondaydream for collaborating with me on this doc!

april was tortured poets department month so this is a month or two overdue. but i was inspired to create a doc perfect for writer characters! ink spills and coffee stains, isn't it a little reminiscent of colder months even if it's nearing summer? it's cozy, beige, and was utterly lovely to create.

hi! i get this question asked pretty often but unfortunately at the time i do not accept commissions as it is out of my schedule. however, i do know creators who do fantastic comissions:
@stargazingdesign
@destimnesia
@tragedynoir
@dramatwrgy
@lemondaydream
all of their prices / availability vary so find what may suit you through viewing their commission information. they’re all spectacular doc creators. :^) thank you for asking!
Forgot to ask this a while back but then you followed me and it kinda reminded me. Do you happen to be in graphic/web design? I feel like if your docs look this good you must have some kind of experience lol.
wanted to answer this just to curb your curiosity! i’m not in graphic/web design. i do have artistic background in terms of illustration/painting! though above everything else, i’m a self-taught graphic designer. i actually learned how to do GD through docs and eventually branched out to do photoshop work for my institution. here are a couple of photoshop work in which i used my knowledge of docs!
i actually want to someday apply my photoshop skillset within my docs work. maybe during october…? who knowsssss… 👀🩸🧛
