It’s about time I actually made an actual introduction post so… Hi! You can call me Xria, I’m apparently a legal adult now and an enjoyer of a wide variety of media (esp musical theatre) that I’m too lazy to list out but Epic (esp Athena) is my current biggest obsession! I draw and yap sometimes so stick around for that haha

Question: Have you ever heard of Erichthonius, son of Athena? I find his story pretty interesting, and I wanted to know if you ever had any ideas for him. (My hc is that Athena sees a lot of him in Odysseus/Telemachus, but her problem is that she projects him and his personality and likes onto the two. (Like, if he was a bit of a crybaby spoiled little angel who never had any problems because his single mother was the goddess of war, she projected that onto Odysseus by being stricter on Odysseus to compensate for that and basically using him as a 'do-over' child) but that's just me lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

Oooh I have not! I briefly read through the backstory on Wikipedia and… goddamn that sure is one hell of a birth story LMAO There does seem to be several versions of his myths but the version where he gets to grow up without dying as a baby is pretty cool! Of course he gets favorite grandchild privileges from Zeus, who coulda guessed?

But also yes she (epic athena) would definitely project him onto ody/telemachus, we know she has a track record of doing this from her ody-telemachus pipeline soooo

Out of context Athena and Pallas City of Mist OCs that @boggersdoggers and I came up with, there’s WAY TOO MUCH CONTEXT TO EXPLAIN BUT basically, see this as modern au epic athena + Pallas (childhood best friends that got separated as kids and reunited in high school + tragic doomed yuri in which neither of them ever got to confess, and athena goes through a ruthlessness arc bc of pallas’ death and then goes through a we’ll be fine arc with a telemachus-adjacent character if you know what I mean)
