I haven't forgotten this comic, I promise! I've been doing a lot of redesigning and practice, and I have the first three pages ready to drop, and the fourth page underway.

I think this time I'll be hosting on webtoon or something in addition to tumblr, but first I need to do more research (and finish organizing post-move!)

recs for webcomic hosting sites

hello hello, I would like recommendations for where to host the salad squad comic! I'll definitely be posting it here, but I'd really welcome some recommendations from comic readers and writers for where to publish in addition to tumblr.

it may be a while yet before I can get anything up and running (the house we moved into in May is. awful. and we're probably moving again soon bc it's leaking and moldy and gross, and the landlord only sorta fixes things and the fixes are always temporary and cheap.) but! I want ideas, bc boy howdy do I got the itch to do this comic!

for artists/writers: what kind of work goes into publishing on the sites you use? for comic readers: what comic hosting sites have been the best user experience?

pls leave any suggestions in tags, comments, or in my asks! thank y'all for sticking around!

I have decided I do want to redraw the first chapter. I'm going to start at a different point and cover different story beats, and basically everything has been redesigned since this comic started... however many years ago, so it'll be a fresh read for those of you who have stuck around all this time!

I'm about to move early next month, so I probably shouldn't commit to starting until mid-late May, but. I have already inked the first page bc I had the itch. it's coming.

I've not been doing too hot, and drawing has been hard lately. but I can always rely on my baby Basil for some comfort.

she was my first 5e character, and I played her all the way from level 1 to 20. I started a comic about her and her party a few years ago (@saladsquadcomic), and one day I'd love to pick it up again, but who knows when I'll have the time or energy for it.

in the meantime, have a Basil.

sorry the update's been taking so long, I'm in finals season and the projects are neverending. I drew this a while ago as a patreon goodie, but I've since shut down the patreon and just wanted to share this pretty piece.

I love to chew on the scenery every once in a while, it gives me a chance to explore and flesh out the world of Salad Squad. for instance, I have decided there are fireflies.

I've decided that Tomath has them tig ol biddies, but he's still a soft dad. also I love drawing Salis expressions, they get so worked up and I have so much fun.

anyways, wasn't it just sunny?? where'd those clouds come from, I wonder...?
