The town of Salem has a haunting history, which attracts people from all over. Some spend a bit of time, get their fill of chaos and leave. Others stay and immerse themselves into the community. But whether you stay or leave, you’re not safe from the evil that’s there. The Williams reside there, and know all your secrets, your deep dark history, and will use them against you. You don’t know who to trust, who to turn to. So, can you survive Salem? admin note.
This might come as a shock to some of you, some not, but Salem is coming to a close as of November 7, 2015. Seeing as we started on June 24, 2013, we’ve had quite a great run. All current players, please check the OOC blog for a very important message. On behalf of all admins, past and present, I want to thank you all for even clicking on our page, let alone reading a bit and applying, especially if you stayed. This has been an incredible two years and we would’ve shut down so long ago if it hadn’t been for your amazing dedication and we honestly cannot say thank you enough. I wish you all the best and by all means, stay in contact. Love you lots!
All aboard! Toof toof! Come one, come all, (a little bit off schedule) for a very exciting night. A train has come for the residents of the beastly town of Salem, Massachussetts, where we meet our fate. Come in costume or attire as formal or informal as you wish, bring the kids or bring the booze, all is welcome here, where our destination is uncertain. But it’s Mischief Night, and tomorrow is Halloween, the fears are high. But nothing worth a waiver... Right..?
Hello! So the Event has been decided! We will be having the Halloween Train, Everyone must be on board by Five P.M. EST on Friday, October 30th, the train will be departing at said time and will be riding until dawn, or until the last person is standing. (This is a neatchat event, which will be posted here around 4:30). See you all then. Any questions, please direct them to the head witches here.
Winnie Kaper is an 18 year old resident of Salem, who contributes to the town by being a college student. Unfortunately for her, she declined the Williams’ offer of becoming a minion, and has been told before she looks a bit like that celebrity Caitlin Stasey.

“She tastes like apple juice and peach.”
Looking at Winnie, you’d probably assume she was the quiet girl in the back of the classroom, painting her nails with a tight group of friends that guys swoon over, and she’s oblivious to them all. But you’d be wrong. For the most part, at least. She’s had several secret admirers from the guys in her classes, but she’s paid them no attention. She focused on sports of all things. No, she may look like America’s sweetheart, but she was quite the jock. She watched all the games, had favorite teams and favorite members, could predict plays, it was practically her passion. She’d been on many different teams, as many as she could. The only one she couldn’t do was cheerleading, as they were always going on while she’d be on the field. Indeed, Winnie was that girl you hear about that goes against all odds to be on the all-male football team. And she did that. All the other sports were female inclusive, but she’d made it on anyways. So, being at the high standard of every sports team she could get onto, she had great grades as well. A star student, a star athlete.
So naturally, a girl as involved as she was in sports, a pretty girl, nonetheless, guys flocked to her. And she loved it. Not all of them wanted to date, in fact most didn’t. For most of her life, she was definitely one of the dudes. All of her best friends were male, and very few were female. This put her apart from her awkward, isolated sister. Despite being so different, she still tried her hardest to get close to her. She felt like Trinity resented her, feeling that Winnie was the favorite by default. It was obvious her parents didn’t favor Trinity, so maybe she assumed they preferred the younger girl? Winnie hated it and she wanted to make Trinity happy, and she felt like Trinity was cold and distant. She only really smiled and opened up when her friend Dylan came over, and that was enough for Winnie, at least. She might want an ideal relationship with her sister, where they can go to each other crying with heartbreak or the other is the no-doubt choice for their maid of honor, but she’s come to terms with that not being realistic.

“You would find her in a Polaroid picture.”
She’d gotten desperate to make all the teams, she truly loved every sport and she knew she’d excel at them. However, Winnie also knew that because she had arrhythmia, a heart condition where the pace of the beats were irregular, most coaches would turn her away. Yeah, she’d taken great care of herself and it was under great control. But you think they’d care? She’d be a liability, and as accepting as high school sports teams should be, it would be like letting a diabetic participate in a pie eating contest. So, before they could say no, she went to a family friend, who could arrange for her to get on the team. She agreed to help with any dirty work they needed her for as long as she stayed safe in the team. They back out, she backs out, vice versa. She may have to leave on a short notice in any circumstance, or get strange envelops in the middle of class delivered to her, but she doesn’t care, as long as she keeps her position.
On her way home from a great baseball game one night, she’d been walking to her car alone. She could’ve gone with the rest of her team for a celebratory dinner, but she was tired and had another practice in the morning. She knew her limits and how to keep herself from stretching too thin. She was maybe ten feet away when a gloved hand came around her mouth, muffling her panics. She was being jumped, her money was being demanded away from her. He eventually lets go once he makes his demands clear, so she can give him her possessions. In an adrenaline rush of fear, she throws the majority of the gear to the ground, leaving only her bat in her hands. She beat him a few times with the metal object, until he was writhing on the ground. She rushed to her car, breathing rapid, her already crazily-beating heart beating even weirder and faster. Winnie sped the car backwards, feeling herself hit a bump, 90% most likely the guy, before speeding away. She hasn’t told anyone, she still has no idea if she’d simply committed a hit and run or a murder.
Being such a versatile athlete as she was, Winnie has to be fit. She keeps a good diet, doesn’t stray from it, it’s been her way of life for a fairly long amount of time. She’s got journals full of her calorie intake, keeping a strict record of everything she eats. Because of this, she doesn’t go out often, fearing she won’t be able to document or control her calorie intake. It has become a giant burden on her, she hates not being able to try new foods, and it feels like it consumes her life. Many of her friends believe she has an eating disorder due to her obsession with it, and sometimes she fears it too.
Winnie knew from a young age she didn’t like boys. Not in that sense, at least. She always knew she was a lesbian, just didn’t know the term for it. She’d always fantasize about getting her own princess, where more girls were asking where their princes were. Eventually, when she was fifteen, she got a girlfriend, who she desperately cared for. She got the courage to come out to her parents by bringing her girlfriend home and introducing her as her title first, then name. Ideally, she’d be confident, her girlfriend would be proud, her parents may be shocked but love her nonetheless. It’d be perfect. She walked in as planned with her girlfriend on her arm, nervous but feeling good, until she saw their faces. They didn’t look surprised, they didn’t look unhappy, they looked normal. But she could hear their rude remarks and she imagined them laughing and spiting out awful words, and it freaked her out without anything even happening. Her heartbeat got too fast, and in front of everyone, she collapsed. She had to be rushed to the hospital, and never got to officially come out, but they knew because of what happened.
Congratulations Anya, you’ve been accepted as your first choice Caitlin Stasey Winnie Kaper. Please send in the account within 48 hours or your role will be reopened.

If you’re looking to be in a new roleplay tonight, here’s a good place to start looking. We’re a town roleplay, set in the lovely town of Salem, MA, which focuses mainly on character development and all of our character have their own secrets. We’ve been around for two and a half (or so) years, so we’re definitely reliable on consistency. We accept immediately, and we’d absolutely love for you to be here too!
Hiya babies. Just as a heads up, you’ve got a few hours left to vote in the poll here, and we’ll reveal the winning event tomorrow. We currently have a tie, so it’d be great if a lovely doll like yourself could fix it.
The following players have surpassed the allotted time gone and now have 24 hours to either become active or message the main about their absence. If they do not, their roles will either be opened or deleted and the faces reopened.

Seeing as Halloween is coming up, we need an event. We will be doing more weekly/regular events, so we’re starting out with a good reason. Here, you can vote for which event you want, and some may not make sense, so I’ll elaborate. The Halloween Train is inspired by Pretty Little Liars’ Halloween episode a few years back, where the town hops on a train, unknowing of the destination or driver, and cannot get off. Forced to enjoy themselves. Trunk-Or-Treat is fairly self-explanatory, but if you’re unfamiliar on the occassion, it’s where parents drive to a scheduled parking lot, open and decorate the back of their cars, giving out candy to the kids who show up. Best recommended for parents to give out candy and not strange people who haven’t left their house in seven months, covered in grease and tears. The Haunted House option is where there’s a haunted house, full of jumpscares and fake cobwebs, and the elaborate exit has some technical difficulties, so once you enter, you’re kinda stuck there. If you’re not from Salem or haven’t heard the hype, the ‘Salem Town Party,’ might sound boring to you. But just look up videos on youtube, Salem Halloween. They take their jack-o-lanterns very seriously. It’s a huge event that tourists go to from all over, I may be included this year. And the Fall Ball is most lowkey. Just a casual, laid-back autumn festival, we can work out the detail on attire, but with the normal pumpkin weighing-contest, bobbing for apples, all of that. If it doesn’t win this time, definitely coming back around for November.
If you still don’t fully get a certain topic, shoot us a message and we’ll go further into details. We tried to avoid AU events, because they’re not too popular in this place for some reason, but if you have any special requests, come on down! We’re gonna leave the poll up for a week and tally it up on October 22, 2015. As always, send any questions here to your head witches.
Hey guys!! If you’re super oganized and you know your characters birthyear, please reply to this post with it, to be safe! Also could you send a message telling me what characters, face, or relationship you want so I can put them on the most wanted list and promote?
Hiya babes! I’m gonna take a quick shower but come back super quick. I have awful internet connection atm, but I’ll still get to you today. We’re a town rp based mostly on character development, and we’ve got a Halloween event soon to be revealed. Plus, we accept right away. Wanna give us a look?
