Yeah, trouble with the landlord for my apartment,it’ just been a pain in the neck. [literally just warps around her like a snuggly koala bear]

“Want me to kick his ass for you?” she asked, wrapping her arms around him and pressing a kiss against his hair when he curled against her.
“I’m good. Can’t really complain, rarely can.”
It’s been a long day alright? [zips his pants]

“Are they….crap… Thanks, doll.”

“Might want to zip your pants up, pal. Or don’t, fly free, don’t let me judge.”

“Dream killer.”
“I would have mentioned a twin. Actually you’re right, I totally might have lied about that depending.”
“So....twin, yes or no?”
“She’s a national treasure.”
“Who? God, please tell me you’re Jim’s hot single twin.”
“Once. I will be back, it was amazing. You’ve been to weddings before though, right? Because they tend to veer towards ostentatious. So boringly predictable. Easy to read. Right on all counts. Will you go out with me this weekend? Whenever you’re free.”
“Where did you go when you were there? I haven’t, no. Heard about them a lot but never actually been to one. I don’t think you’re.....I didn’t many any of that in a bad way, you know. I think you’re great. I could do this weekend.”
“There is something irresistible about California beaches. Plus that’ll attract ton of weddings, and couples are willing to spend anything. Things like what, Miss Sally?”
“You’ve been? California’s amazing. Can’t speak on the couples thing, but I’ll take your word for it. You’re such a genuine person.... no matter what area of your life, it’s easy to tell that you’re always going to do the best and most honest and fair thing. You’re bad at hiding your emotions, your heart eyes are impossible to silence. You’re just...easy to read and predict and that kind of honesty and genuineness is kind of amazing.”
“Not a cute little bed and breakfast in Vermont? I’m pretty transparent when it comes to that sort of thing.”
“Nah. Hotel in California on the beach; dream big, right? You’re transparent when it comes to a lot of things, but I like that about you.”
“People have their moments. Is a bakery the goal? You could always go back to baking once you own your own place. Four am every morning to start though, those are tough hours to keep. I’ll marry for love, not titles, in any case.”
“You have enough moments for everyone. No, I don’t want a bakery. I want a hotel. Or an Inn, I guess. Of course you will - and I have no doubts that you’ll find it. Sooner, rather than later, I’m sure.”
“Since when is it out of the ordinary? Manners maketh man. Is hellraising a major? I don’t know….Psychology maybe, or something culinary. You could secretly be an art freak.I’d have to marry into the crown.”
“Since always? People are selfish and rude and have always been that way. You’re just....special. I do like baking...but even then, I’d rather be a business major. I’d rather own and run my own place than have to work underneath anyone else. Well don’t do that - I hear real royalty are all related.”
“I’m really not, I just….like doing the right thing. And seeing the good in people. I don’t think that’s out of the ordinary. You’re respectable, for sure. You’re also unpredictable and interesting. I didn’t peg you as a Business major. I think it’s fascinating. Still not a real prince.”
“Which all makes you really really good. And it’s very out of the ordinary. What major would you have guessed, then? Business can be unpredictable and interesting.... You’re the real-est Prince out there, don’t argue.”
“In a negative or positive way? Solid, respectable, safe major. Doesn’t seem to suit you at all, but I’m sure you excel at it. Economics. It’s more interesting than it sounds, it really helps you understand government policy, law, social and political processes and…..it’s as boring as it sounds. I tried.”
“Positive, I guess. You’re just so...good. I haven’t been around that in a really long time. Wait, why not? I’m not solid, respectable, or safe? I....wow, that sounds hella boring. All things a Prince would need, though, so makes sense.”
“It isn’t about what you’ll use, Trig forces you to think in different ways and find different paths to a solution. It sharpens your reasoning and logic. You’re never going to have to do a Sudoku puzzle in the real world, but people still do them. What’s your major?”
“.....I forgot how different you are from literally every other person in my life. I’m a business major. What’s yours? Since I don’t think niceness and positive outlooks are majors.”
“He’s okay. He’s coming back here as soon as he can fly again. If I don’t do the work I won’t have any of the skills. If I were looking to buy an education I would have bought a diploma directly. I can buy you out of your assignments though, if they’re troubling you.”
“Okay, good. I’m glad to hear it. That is such a noble view of school but seriously, when are you ever going to use Trig in real life? You don’t...no, nope, definitely don’t have to do that. Sweet offer, though.”
