I get anxiety attacks of various severity regularly but I’m grateful that I haven’t had a full on panic attack in a couple years. It’s impossible to describe how awful they are.

For me, I start to hyperventilate. My vision tunnels. Everything sounds like it’s underwater. My heart tries to beat it’s way out of my chest. I get so hot and I swear it’s mere milliseconds before I’m absolutely doused in sweat. I can’t move. All I can do is sit there and try to breathe and pray it will be over soon.
