Can’t believe 3 separate men wanted to fuck Edwin so bad they went and died about it. Lololol the cat king lost one of his 9 lives in an attempt to save Edwin. Monty had his chest clawed open before being transformed back into a crow - also because he was trying to save Edwin. Simon was so filled with repressed gay longing for Edwin that he attempted to ritually sacrifice him and got sucked into the pits of hell for it. Like Local Edwardian Ghost Boy so attractive he has a body count. 3 dead, more injured.

I know people say things like this about actors all the time but it is crazy that it genuinely feels like Assad and Armand don’t even look the same, and it isn’t just the coloured contacts or the costuming.

It’s a testament to how much work he’s done on the character and how good he is at his job, but also just how much your body language and mannerisms can contribute to how people perceive you. There is absolutely no part of Assad that resembles Armand, to the point that when you see him in interviews, there’s some small part of you that almost doesn’t believe that he plays him. That maybe Armand is actually out there somewhere. That’s how great Assad is.

I’m afraid we’ve memeified Armand to the point people are unable to actually engage with his character. “Blame the person who’s fault it is” post are funny up until they overtake any real analysis of him and his relationship dynamics

I’m really disheartened by the way Armand is being portrayed in season 3’s promotional material. He’s rarely there, and when he is, fans take it as confirmation that he’s one big unlovable fool who only exists to be mocked and discarded. It doesn’t help that everyone turned Assad’s thoughtful comments about Armand, during the after dark show, into a giant meme and refused to engage with his actual message
