Brown Rice Waffle Recipe Vegan and Gluten Free Make them for breakfast make them for lunch have them for a snach. They are good to eat any time Yippee! Ingredients; 1-3/4 cups gluten free all purpose flour ( I like to use King Arthur brand) 3/4 cup Brown Rice Flour 4 teaspoons gluten free baking powder 1 teaspoon xanthan gum 1/4 cup blended silken tofu with 1/2 teaspoon arrowroot 2-1/2 cup almond milk or other milk alternative 1 teaspoon vanilla or I teaspoon vanilla cream stevia 3 Tablespoons gluten free rice syrup or agave syrup 1/4 cup Earth Balance melted or safflower oil 3/4 cup almond butter or peanut butter 1/2-3/4 cup cooked short grain Brown rice. With an electric hand mixer and large bowl or stand mixer combine all dry ingredients. Mix on low until combined. Continue mixing on low while adding the Silken Tofu,melted Earth Balance, Almond milk and Rice Syrup. Scrape down bowl. Stir in Almond butter. Heat waffle iron, lightly oil with coconut oil. Scoop batter onto waffle iron sprinkle 2-3 Tablespoons cooked brown rice. Serve with sweet or savory toppings. Delicious!

Carefully add Potatoes into pan turn heat to medium. Stir well. Cover with a lid for 4-5 minutes. Uncover stir until crispy brown. Transfer Potato Stix to dish with paper towel. Salt to taste. Serve with Catsup for a great snack or use as a side dish. This recipe serves 2 and counts as 1/2 serving vegetable. Add a green salad to make a full serving of vegetables. The Catsup is a condiment and does not count as a serving of vegetable or fruit.
Macaroni and Yeast Vegan Gluten Free Kid Friendlee Recipe Yippee Cook off and set aside; 1 pound gluten free pasta (I like Quinoa elbows) Set aside. In a large pot, combine; 2 cups vegetable stock,homemade or Imagine No- Chicken Broth, 1 bay leaf, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon celery salt , 2 teaspoons Tumeric, 1 Tablespoon Dry Mustard, 1/2 cup Nutritional Yeast, 1/3 cup Potato Flour. Whisk together, cook over medium heat whisking all the time until sauce coat the back of a tablespoon. Remove bay leaf. Turn off heat. Taste for seasoning, add more salt, tumeric and some cayenne pepper if desired. Add in; 1/2 cup shredded vegan cheddar cheese (I prefer Daiya cheddar style cheese). Stir. Transfer to medium sized casserole. Sprinkle top with mix of: 1/4 cup nutritional yeast, 1/4 cup ground cashews, 1/4 cup gluten free cracker or bread crumbs, 1/4 cup melted Earth Balance. ** for nut allergies, sub more bread or cracker crumbs for cashews. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven. Serves 4 maybe less, maybe more…
