Weapons that broke were smelted back into molten metal, or were placed on display and forgot about in some nobleman’s house, gathering dust as it had gathered kills during its prime

Shows up late to the party with absolutely no excuse

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ONE OF THE BEST GAMES OF ALL TIME!!!

This game… man I tell ya. I was never really a guy who played metrovanias; they never appealed to me. However, when I was in a GameStop buying a game with my friend, the demo of a colorful and artistically pleasing game caught my attention. I asked to purchase it, but the employee told me they were out of stock. No matter; I could download from the eShop instead! Upon opening the game, I was enraptured. The music, the art, the characters, the voice acting… all of it. Sargon grabbed me by the throat and refused to let go, and honestly, I wasn’t fighting him.

The winter I spent playing was also the winter I had undergone top surgery. A lot of my January-(early)February days were spent recovering and The Lost Crown was always there to help distract me from the nerves reconnecting and the general ache from surgery.

I owe so much to this game. I’ve made such wonderful friends across the world, and I have seen my art improve drastically from drawing fan art of these goofy goobers. I even started a fan comic (that will be finished as a fic! It is already 130 pages long!!!). I was heartbroken when I heard the team disbanded. Now it is up to the fans to keep this game alive, and if Prince of Persia: the Lost Crown has no supporters, that means I’m dead

IMPORTANT "More than a Weapon" UPDATE

Due to multiple factors, MtaW will continue as a fic! I apologize to everyone who was looking forward to a comic, but it is easier for me to continue this via text (this also lets me get away with more intimate scenes without the Tumblr NSFW police banging down my door). I WANT to share this AU with you all! I had so much help from @kaihoney and a BIG special thanks to @gryffintheparrotcat for being my proof-reader/editor! So far, it has expanded to 23 chapters with some bonus chapters on the way!

Again, thank you so much for around for this long and I apologize for the lack of updates! "More than a Weapon" will continue shortly!
