ykw this is a salt blog, i should be allowed to complain about having to play the rich people simulator game without ppl feeling the need to defend the current game economy so heavily. the bugs/learning curve makes PB in its current state a lot harder to be f2p than other games of this genre. farming is one of the few mostly f2p things to do without dedicating full actual days to grinding. fertilizer is the only way to make that profitable, im not bashing people making money in the number go up game, thats my goal too, but when it's literally the same 5 people selling most things on the fm and a total active player count of 100-300 people at any given time oligarchy isn't even that inaccurate of a statement. those folks may be f2p as well, good for them, but if they are it probably took an insane amount of time and luck to have any money in this game. the difficulty bar to do most things as a new or f2p player is extremely frustrating, and likely by design to push people to buy silver to keep the site funded. again not an issue, nature of the game whatever, i should still be allowed to bitch on the salt blog without people getting defensive over the state of site. if you want a game that is unappealing to new and f2p players you have it!! it's not the rich players themselves that are the problem, it's the state of the site being straight up unfun in most ways if you can't afford silver. the materials cost of fert/den expansions/all the item sinks on site reward the rich/heavy grinders and still don't address that the site is extremely difficult for new/f2p which would be way less of an issue if there was literally anything else to do on site. the culture it creates is setting the site up to be fun/useable only if you can spend hours a day on it grinding or drop hella real money on it. and before anyone calls me lazy for wanting SOME site things to be easier, how the hell is the community supposed to grow if everything is the most miserable grind on earth.
