I actually never intended to come back to tumblr. I left because my main @saturn-squid wasn’t getting the engagement I wanted, it was tiring to post on both tumblr AND ig, and people were more active on ig in general. I just didn’t have the motivation to keep this blog running either.

chapter 371!!!!! i haven't felt this excited in a long time!! i've only just grasped the full potentiality of a future arc

- hinata & oikawa!!!!! the possibility of them being friends hasn't even occured to me until now. this is exactly what a future arc can offer us !! portraying a fundamental development in the relationships between characters - the shift from rivals / teachers to friends !! who knows what other characters we'll see again & in what ways/contexts (i mean, oikawa appearing like this was completely unexpected) & what relationship growths there'll be

- hinata's wallpaper !! i miss the karasuno babies so much. it heartens me to think that they've gotten so close over the three years in high school (although tsukki still looks predictably unimpressed to be part of that photo)

- the way hinata's journey was humansied!! i think sometimes we forget that he was still so young when he made that move halfway across the world. i love how his loneliness, humanness, and realisation that not everyone is as extroverted as him & not everyone wants to be friends was fleshed out in this chapter

- hinata's growth in beach volleyball is so exciting! his inner monologue "the sand... it's strict but kind" was so powerful; i felt like i experienced that moment of enlightenment with him. i'm glad we are seeing hinata's growth again. sometimes in the previous arc i felt like he plateaued a lil, but now!! it's a brand new beginning!!
