Hellooo!!! Sorry for such a late reply, I haven’t been active that much on social media lately due to my workload. Thank you for asking meee :D
For my animations in general I use all of the preset graphs
I do only a few adjustments if I eg. want the movement to be faster/harsher.
The only two ‘custom’ graphs I use are these two, which are also basically heavy exaggerations of the preset graphs in AM
Additionally I use Oscillate + Swing to fill in the gaps between tweening, just so my image glides a little.
Usually low settings. In “Sinking Town” I had the angles on ‘Swing’ have a bigger gap, so it looks more like cardboard cutouts being moved rather than regular gliding.
For shaking/jitter I use Autoshake on low settings, Oscillate is also effective especially if you want the img to shake in one direction
I also use Motion blur a lot, I usually don’t change it’s default settings however
In my most recent animation “Fool-me-not” I didn’t use any graphs at all but utilized keyframes like this ⬇️⬇️
Note that this is only possible on 12fps.
15fps works ok too but there’s smoother movement, rather than the ‘Stop motion’ style I went for in the animation
You can also technically cut up your image and move the second half and then group it all together, but that would mean you’ll have a LOT of layers, which causes lag and is a tad bit tedious
Alternatively you can use this graph (it’s in premium though!) and adjust it to have lesser ‘keyframes’
Each ‘stair’ in this graph works as a (key)frame and looks a lot like low fps/stop motion style.
I used this one for slower/low fps spinning such as the cardboard flower element in the same animation (0:25–0:48 timeframe)

This entire response was also written like you already have a basic understanding of tweening in AM (keyframes, graphs etc)
sometimes media is more delicious when stuff with major implications is very much present but also very much glossed over very quickly. like yeah that guy subtly quietly tried to kill himself and alluded to having tried before. anyway
