On December 26, 2016 Typhoon Nina made landfall and badly hit Barangay San Andres on Verde Island. The typhoon damaged the barangay's houses, water works, street lights, barangay hall, elementary school. It also swallowed 24 boats and damaged 14. A huge blow to them as they rely on fishing for livelihood. Thankfully no one was hurt and 60 families were evacuated. But they still need help—your help—to get back on their feet. Lately

Walks to/from school.

A year ago I decided to swim for a goal.

In the span of a year Reef Nomads has had 9 dives, 62 participants, and 24 guides. 

I’ve had my fair share of doubts. In fact the past few weeks have been so tough that I’ve thought about quitting.

But this is all that makes sense right now and I can’t imagine doing anything else.
