I want to talk about this picture and the anime in general for a sec.

I really like how the anime team put so much attention to Mika’s sorrow for season two? Choosing to even show him crying in the opening, until he turns around and sees Yuu, a clear foreshadowing of their reunion, where Mika finally gets to release the tears he’s been holding and drink human blood for the first time, deciding to keep on living.

I think they wanted to represent the pain he had been bottling up for years and how he was reaching his breaking point, culminating with episode 22 and the loss of his humanity.

Yuu basically puts an end to that pain by finally giving him the comfort he needed and allowing him to let go of his restraints for once.

I think this is very meaningful. For someone like Mika, who always put on a strong facade to survive in Sanguinem, to cry for once and receive the support he needed…

In my opinion, the anime really handled Mika’s emotional state well and I really appreciate the effort they put into conveying that to the audience.

I can totally picture human Mika falling ill quite frequently for bearing so much stress on his own.Just like when vampire Mika needs blood, Yuu goes protective boyfriend mode and scolds Mika for putting his body under so much pressure without calling for his help, and care for him.Now, unlike Mika, Yuu is kind of messy, but he does his best to nurse him, and what he lacks in organization and caution, he compensates with his affection and eagerness.Eventually, though, he’d need to call Kimizuki for help, because Mika refuses to drink his poisonous-looking soup and Yuu doesn’t know what he did wrong. LOLMika, the stubborn little shit, tries to stand up and do the chores, much to Yuu’s dismay.When Mika’s body gives up and faints Yuu is DONE so he practically ties Mika to his bed and realizes he has to supervise him 24/7.Mika is the “I’m fine, I can do this” type of sick, you see. He refuses to accept he’s too weak to go about his daily routine. ESPECIALLY when Yuu reassures him he’ll take care of everything. Mika fears for his house and his life.All in all, Yuu is an excellent boyfriend, and Mika feels very safe under his care, like he’s allowed to be taken care of for once.

What is your opinion on YuuNoa? People already seem to celebrate that they'll become canon because Shigama Doji keeps pointing out Shinoa's feelings for Yuu, but I'm not sure what to think of it.

Weelllllll.....Honestly...I Think Yuu and Shinoa Would make a pretty good like, Best friend Relationship instead of a Romantic relationship. (Mainly because the couple lacks development unlike mikayuu having a TON of development) About the people celebrating the YuuNoa ship being canon bc of Shikama Doji Thing,.....
