Ok, I'm done and done now. Woof, I am exhausted!
The first thing I bought today was this print of a hand-drawn Umbreon with van Gogh's Starry Night. I was super taken with it! It's by TAndriesArt!
Then I got some Socks from Socktopus. I needed the CUNT cat, I needed the grumpy grandma who hates computers, and I needed the fox soxs (although I noticed too late that they're too big for me, but that's fine, I can pull them up my thighs or something).
I then hauled ass back to @gremblim's stand to get their zines, and they told me they'd seen a young child cosplaying Italy at the con! I also saw someone dressed as America later! What a wonderful time to be alive, Hetalia 2026, hell yeah, baby.
Gremblim doodled these for me in the zines, had Nor say "I ❤️ butter", then I mentioned I ship NorIta and they had Italy say "I ❤️ Norway", and then said, "Now it kinda looks one-sided, oops", haha.
While we were talking, they took notice of the pins on my bag, and saw that I had a pin of Shane from Stardew Valley on it, and straight up handed me one of their Shane pins for free! I didn't even register it at first (brain fried, absolutely useless up in my head sometimes), and suddenly I was like, "Sorry, what did you give me???" and I opened it and squealed, haha.
Look at my grumpy BOY, I CAN FIX HIM.
I then got these huge tumblr-coded buttons from Chubbistar (also known as V4mprince). They weren't present at the con, had to leave for undisclosed reasons, I hope they're okay! In any case, I adore these buttons.
I then got some MORE buttons over at @paranoart, where we discussed our Stardew Valley husbands (theirs is Harvey), and they informed me that there's an update coming to Stardew Valley, with two new marriage candidates! I had no idea! I know who they are, but I'm not gonna spoil it in case you don't wish to know. If you do wish to know, I'm sure it'll be easy to find out!
But yes, I needed me some Game Grumps buttons and a new Asexual button, because my old one is rusting, haha.
And then I got this hardcover book by a self-published author named LM Morgan! This is their newest one, I believe, and I got it signed by them and also by the artist Rowan Barton! Morgan asked what types of books I read, and I bashfully told them about my orc smut shelf, lmfao. Barton drew me a little orc next to their signature, haha.
I went looking for t-shirts, but the one I did want was out of stock. It was a beautiful black-and-white illustration of the pokémon Espeon by Kate Mia White. I also found some joggers and matching t-shirt by Kimmy Sparks, but they were also out of stock. Sparks is coming to MCM London, so I hope I can get the stuff then!
