blaine-at-hogwarts:
Blaine followed Sam’s gaze to see McGonagall watching them with approval. “I didn’t doubt she’d be okay with it. School unity and all that,” he said and the others around the table didn’t seem put out. Who would be though…it was Sam. Everyone liked Sam, he was just the best.
When Sam felt for a fever, Blaine blushed even harder. “No, no, I’m fine,” he said with a forced chuckle. “A little warm. Maybe I’ll get some air after dinner, try to cool off and work off some of this heavy food. Do you think they do this on purpouse? Stuff us so full at the welcome feast that we all just drop into our beds in an overfed stupor on the first night?”
“Huh, you know, that actually sounds like a smart thing to do.. feed us plenty and then ship us of to our dorms.” Sam replied as he slowly removed his hand from Blaine’s forehead, after letting it linger there for far to long probably but it had felt really nice to feel the warmth of Blaine’s skin against his fingers. “Very sneaky of them,” he added with a chuckle.
He loaded up his plate with way more food then he would ever eat but he at least planned to have a little bit of everything. “Would you mind if I join you for that walk? Not really in the mood to go back to the dorms just yet. And from the looks of it it’s nice out.” Sam pointed up to the ceiling where there was no cloud in sight and you could see a lot of stars on display.
