Oh man I haven't written in 7evr, like legit.

I dunno, what idea did you have?

A few days ago Tumblr notified me about being 8 years old this year. I couldn't helped but thinking back about the very first time I started using Tumblr and the reasons why I decided to stay for so long after all these years. One of them was for the FFXV fandom and another one of them was you, KC. 8 years ago, I was on my journey to search for more FFXV contents and I found your blog. A lovely blog, created by a wonderful writer, displayed quite a number of good FF/FFXV fanfics that I had to comeback everyday to re-read all of them whenever I had free time. From your blog, I got to know of more awesome writers in the fandom but I still found myself visit your blog at least once before I went to bed. 8 years later, it's safe to say that the FFXV fandom has cooled down to a certain degree, which made me feel deeply regret not being more active in reaching out to you and other writers earlier, to express how much I'd appreciated your works for these past years. Some has moved on to other platforms, some has stopped using social network for good, some went on an indefinite hiatus and some still remains with some updates from time to time like you, KC. And now, after everything is said and done, I just want to say that I'm really grateful for your works, for your lovely responses you gave to your followers, for your interesting fanfic recommendations and the most important thing is that I'm really grateful that you're still here with us readers. That's alone gives me relief that I still can find my way back to your blog to ease my longing for FFXV and everything else. Congratulations on your new bundle of joy! I don't think I ever shared it, but I wrote a little self insert sad piece when I felt it was my time to leave the FFXV fanfic community for a time. I loved and still love FFXV and all its characters. I had so much fun writing out my love for them and then sharing it all with you guys.

So much time has passed and I look upon that period of time with so much love and affection.

I hope the years have been good to you. I will bop them over the head if not. 😂

Thanks for the grats on the baby boy. He's with me right now with the hiccups. :> Motherhood is exactly what I thought it would be like but also nothing like what I thought it'd be like.

I am trying to get back into writing as an outlet because I just need to manage my emotions and thoughts somehow... But I also have to push through the exhaustion to get to that outlet, you know? I'm just so tired all the time lmao.

Anyway, love you so so much. Everytime someone sends me a message or reblogs with like 'I've been following you for a long time, I'm all grown up now' I genuinely like tear up each time. I love you guys so much. Thank you for sticking with me.

Hi! I just want to say that I am really thankful that you still write for not so popular video games in the reader insert bubble like final fantasy vii (or at least it feels like we are getting less and less since I see so little things written for this niche. Just fife years ago this felt completely different). Many authors probably jump the ship sooner or later because of little interaction but you keep going.

But, long story short, I wanted to say thanks for what you do.

to be fair, i've only just returned (there should hopefully still be more coming, if time and energy and inspiration allows). i think the ff7 fandom will slowly wake up as everyone makes their way through rebirth.

i hope other writers come back so there is lots of content for you to consume in the near future :)

Don’t really wanna be Elevator Buddies (Sephiroth x Reader)

A/N: Part 1 here. im suffering sufficiently at my current job that im leaving that i think i can write something because i need an outlet and i also want sephiroth to make it better. also, i am so much older than when i wrote the first part; as such, my writing probably reads a lot more different - better, worse or same is up to you. to those who have requested a part 2 and have waited literal years (its been 4!!!!!), i love you, i'm so sorry its so late.

Staring at the message in your work inbox, you suddenly couldn’t summon the effort to care. Your mood instantly dropped and you needed to leave your desk. You kept your headset on as you wandered towards the small staff kitchen under the guise that you were still connected to a meeting and listening in, when really you just want to block people out. You didn’t want to be perceived.

You just wanted out.

ShinRa Inc wasn’t known as the best place to work, but the pay was good and it was better than any other options you had.

The coffee machine rumbled as you waited for it to process your order. You didn’t even want to drink the cheap, watered down stuff, you just didn’t want to be at your desk looking at that stupid fucking request. There wasn’t much that could get your out of these kinds of emotional troughs bar one thing that seemed to always work.

Elevator buddy (Sephiroth x Reader)

a/n: i just want to write cute shit for him okay he just needs goddamn AFFECTION okAY?! Back when he wasn’t insane he was probably nice af, idk, whatever. I just want pretty angel murder man to be nice to you OKAY? OKAYYYYYYY. I DON’T KNOW. I LIKE HIM BEING SOFT AND WELL ROUNDED. I THINK I’M ALLOWED THAT.

Elevator rides in the Shinra building were the fucking worst. It was tall as hell building, so elevator rides could get really long depending on where you were going and how busy it was. Some days you legitimately thought taking the stairs would be a better option, but y’know, you liked being alive.

You let out a loud groan as you saw people crowded around one lift. It looked like a couple other elevators were busted. Apparently, renovations were happening somewhere in the building, but what the fuck were they doing? It was like they were fixing one thing by breaking everything else.

There was a loud ding as the stupid elevator finally arrived at the ground floor. Although when the doors opened, no one moved. You were at the back and huffed in annoyance. “Move in people. We got places to be? What are you—” Pointedly bumping people aside, you tried to get a glimpse of what was going on. When you realised what the hold up was, you rolled your eyes. “Are you fucking kidding me. Let me through.”

There was literally only one other person in the elevator.

People stepped aside to let you through and you resisted giving them the finger as the door closed. Turning to the other person with you, you grinned. “Hey, Sephiroth!”
