Anzû —known as Imdugud in Sumer: 3500 BC in the Uruk period: lesser deity in ancient Mesopotamian religions, half god half demon, personification of the blazing southern wind and the thunder clouds; who stole the “Tablet of Destinies” from the god Enlil and hid them on a mountaintop.
