This project was developed as my final term paper for my Journalism degree and consists of an in-depth video report about a Brazilian city where the country’s largest oil production is concentrated.

The report explores the social and economic impacts of oil production on the city, presenting both the opportunities and the challenges faced by the local population. The piece includes interviews with government representatives and local stakeholders, and discusses what residents can expect for the future of the region.

This was an independent project fully produced, directed, and edited by me, covering all stages from research and scripting to filming and post-production.

Social Media Strategy & Performance Growth

Alongside broader operational and communication responsibilities, I developed and implemented a structured social media strategy for the firm across Instagram and Facebook, focusing on clarity, trust-building, and audience engagement within a legal context.

The strategy refined content pillars, strengthened tone of voice, improved visual consistency, and optimised posting approach.

Despite not being a full-time marketing role, the account saw:

Improved engagement consistency

Stronger brand presence

Increased enquiries through social channels

Website Redesign – Legal Aid Focus

I led the redesign and restructuring of Jacobs & Reeves website via Wix, with a clear focus on accessibility and audience-sensitive communication for legal aid clients.

The project prioritised simplified service explanations, intuitive navigation, mobile optimisation, and a tone of voice that balanced professionalism with approachability — essential for clients often accessing support under stress.

I restructured the site architecture, refined messaging, and aligned the visual presentation with the firm’s values and client profile.

The redesign resulted in positive staff and client feedback, improved internal workflow, and increased enquiries.

Internal Newsletter Launch – Cross-Office Engagement Initiative

I led the creation and launch of our firm’s internal newsletter to strengthen communication between both offices and foster a stronger sense of connection across teams.

The objective was to improve transparency, celebrate achievements, share key updates, and create a consistent internal voice aligned with the firm’s culture.

From concept and structure to branding, content planning, and distribution strategy, I managed the project end-to-end. The result was a more engaged workforce and a clearer communication flow between departments.
