Last season of Euphoria really is so ugly and reflective of American society and rising conservatism rn. Nothing but shitty Bible propaganda, rampant anti-blackness, exploitation and humiliation of women and the abuse of sex workers shown to the audience for lurid thrills, one of the lesbian leads dead and another (the trans one) trapped in an outlandish D/s sugar baby relationship tormented and making art and chasing male approval….we live in HELL. It’s so obvious how much this season was injected with stupid ass misogynistic ass homophobic/transphobic ass fantasies and I HATE it.

#dating a woman is so refreshing especially when she knows how much you struggle with consistency and being fearful avoidant bc she also has #dealt with it #I just remember when I was dating other people and I would actively hide this side of me bc I thought I was going to do better so why bring #this up and cause issues #then my therapist said this is what is stopping you from forming deeper connections with anyone #that and being diagnosed with inattentive adhd which makes so much more sense now #like the lack of object /people permanence and putting things to last minute and months of isolation just to work or travel #making friends and dating people but always thinking it will end one day so I should just keep my distance #it’s been so hard accepting that side of me bc it’s like I feel so awful that I became this way instead of being a good consistent person #but having a good support system that understands and pushes me has been very helpful #I am very grateful and hope that by the end of this year I will be able to be more consistent with even more of my old friends #I genuinely miss and love all of them so much #realizing what I need to deal with and work on but always feeling like I’m not doing enough to heal my relationships and even my own self #then again I genuinely didn’t think I would make it to 27 if you had asked me at 17 #I wish I didn’t compare myself so much to my own potential when God will bless me and I will make it happen eventually
