"Someday or Today".
The last thing I saw before waking up this morning was some sort of wheel, on which it was written: "SOMEDAY"/"TODAY".
So, this is how I started the day: with this thought that echoed in my mind.
"Someday... or today".
Here I come up with this new comic page!
Well, for the little anecdote, I confess I giggled a bit as the idea crossed my mind. So, I obviously had to make something out of it. x)
This was also a great opportunity for Kevean's return, as it had been years he hadn't shown up!

Sam: Well... let's say stuff happened in my life in the meantime, and for some reason he reminded me of those weird things I had to move on from. So, uuugh...

Well, I have to admit I have always had a strange time with AI characters while trying to figure out how to consider them: just as a program that mimics human emotions, or as something that grows sentient over the time? Both versions exist in fictions...
(Imagine part of him was built with a human soul inserted into an AI... but he doesn't know anything about it, as much as he doesn't understand his feelings: who does after all?)
Anyway, how do you feel about the ol' Caine quitting the show? Good? Bad? Meh?
Do you consider him just as a mindless villain they got rid of? Or as the victim of his growing insecurities? And was Caine's soul... err, I mean, data, fully erased? Can he be recovered?
PS: Come to think of it... is his dubious appearance actually linked to his implied cannibalistic past at his early stage? ÔO
PS2: Ahhh, so that was me technically drawing an AI character with a pencil and a pen, but should I consider this as some sort of AI art without being AI art? Tbh this sketch was redrawn FIVE times before being posted as such. I'm tired...

Wouldn’t it add something more… playful/joyful to the challenging days of a diabetic?
Well, perhaps it would be anxiety inducing for some people to keep the tiny thing happy by keeping their blood glucose "acceptable"… or create attachment issues if it stops working? ÔO Errrr, ykw, the patient would have the choice to turn this feature on/off anyway.

To be fair, I've spent the whole afternoon working on this, to make sure to post something this Sunday... and I'm glad I got it done! (I wasn't sure I would make it... and now my wrist somewhat hurts, ah haha)
So, here we go... 2025 is behind, and... yep.
Not like I feel like much has changed to be honest. I don't know how you are living it... seeing years pass by.
But, I have to admit that was the mood, sort of. Sometimes, you may feel too slow in some aspects of your life, compared to what you’re expected to do.
However, I suppose a few steps made throughout the previous year might serve at some point. But you don’t realize it right away… right?

It’s true whenever I’ve been mentioning TADC, it’s been mainly about the human protagonists. But now I wonder…
How would you like to imagine the evolution of Caine’s character in the future? 💭
Understanding/growing human feelings and/or insecurities over the time.
Seriously questioning his existence, trying to think even more outside the box.
Becoming more of a villain over the time.
An arc in which characters would (attempt to?) discover how Caine was created.
Are you sure Caine is just an AI? And what if it was more complex than that?

After making a fanart featuring Pomni and Ragatha, I was thinking: "Why not Jax, after all?" so that's what I decided to sketch for this Sunday. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Well, let's say Jax has quite... expressive eyes!
(And DeviantArt suggested "expression" amongst the tags for this fanart, which I found somewhat funny...)
While he might seem kinda confident at first sight (pretty much like the bully of the team), we don't know much about his past... which he has refused to talk about so far.
It just seems like corns scare him away, and he might perhaps be a bit insecure about his masculinity (?)
He also seems to be affected by this friend he’s lost…
Some of his reactions might, however, just be the result of a certain immaturi-

Sam: For wha-? Errrrrr... nah, let's say the context was different. I was surprised (and upset) someone who's been seeing me for awhile misgendered me that day.
Pumpkie: Not just that day, you sometimes get hostile when someone questions your masculinity.
Sam: Well, gender dysphoria sometimes makes me... impulsive I guess. You know, I've struggled for years to be accepted...
Pumpkie: Sounds fair. The fun part of being a transman, I guess.
Sam: That's it.
Ironically, although I'm aware it might be for different reasons, some time after watching the 5th episode of TADC, I told myself: "Oh crap, so I might have similar reactions as Jax?"
Because he's definitely not a character I would have identified to at first. (In terms of personality... whut? ÔO)

Sam: Now, to go back to the artwork per se, something that annoyed me while I was working on it was that I thought I had kinda destroyed the lineart with that marker! But, now I look back at it... it doesn't look THAT bad I guess? So I can find some sort of satisfaction... 🤔 (And frustration at the same time…)
Regardless, Jax remains an enigmatic character, finally!
But what is he up to?
