Harrison Wells:I’m sorry.Not for killing you,I’m sure I had a good reason.

Barry:Dad and I both okay.And we love you,Mom.

Stein:I believe it’s time to say good-bye to Harrison Wells.

Harrison Wells:Home.

Barry stopping Wells returning home.

Harrison Wells getting angry.

Eddie shooting himself.

Harrison Wells is disappearing.

The Thawne Legacy

You see, when Eddie shot himself, it caused Eobard’s entire bloodline to stop existing. So he couldn’t have traveled back in time to kill Nora Allen or Harrison Wells. Which means he would never threaten The Flash and Eddie would never have a reason to shoot himself. At that point, Eobard himself becomes a paradox in time. He disappears not because he was never born, but because his very existence contradicts the reality in which he resides.

In conclusion, the past timeline will remain intact and the Reverse Flash isn’t dead.

I am so happy the writers didn’t make Eddie into a bad guy! They didn’t pull off the cliché and have him become a jerk because he couldn’t have Iris. Instead he just kept fighting and always respected Barry. He knew what a good person Barry is and how important he is for the future. So instead he became the hero, he killed himself in order to save Barry and everyone. He knew it was the only way. Rest in peace Eddie, you’ll always be remembered as a hero to all of us!
