Sam Winchester and Donatello Redfield in 13x14: "Good Intentions"
Happy birthday Sammy
Where did it come from that "Jared is not a great to work with" thing? I've never heard it from anyone (maybe except Misha).
out of genuine curiosity and the drive to have a calm conversation, why do you hate destiel?
I’m going to take this in the spirit intended and answer calmly. I cannot promise any of my fellow antis will do the same and cannot control their behavior.
With that caveat in place…
Easy. It’s not canon. All the supposed subtle messages, “lingering” looks, and other nonsense do not excuse nor detract from the fact that Castiel really fucked up a lot! Bringing Sam back soulless? Breaking his wall? The mess with the angel tablet? On and on… Castiel—had Misha not been “protected” by Bobby Singer, among other bullshit behind the scenes—would have been written out of any other story! No way Dean would have ever forgiven him for all the stuff that had been done to Sam!
How on earth could have Dean loved Castiel with all that?! Especially given how rabid and fanatical Dean is about Sam! It took jumping the shark to even make Castiel make sense and stay when the story would’ve demanded he be removed.
But here’s the thing—when I first watched Supernatural, it was without any knowledge of J2 and Misha. None. I only remembered Jensen from his time on Days of Our Lives. Nothing more. (And Jared from Gilmore Girls.)
I never saw Destiel. Zilch. Zip. Nada.
Maybe you did! Cool. Don’t care. It’s not canon. Jensen, the other half of the Destiel ship, has demanded more than once “Where is Destiel real?”
I’ve seen some seriously toxic and disturbing posts and comments by Hellers about how they don’t care what Jensen says. They want him forced if need be to make Destiel real.
That soured me immensely.
But! Only to those who insist it’s canon (it’s not), to those who ignore Jensen, to those who chase down and send death threats to those who are anti Destiel and/or anti Misha.
The general, quiet Destiel fans? Fine with me.
Those who behave badly? Nope. I’ve seen enough to believe the history of death threats that were sent to Jensen, the inappropriate Destiel stuff he’s had to sign in autos and pose in photo ops. He’s been accused of being homophobic, biphobic….
Such behavior has made it hard to even remotely tolerate Destiel as a whole.
I hope this answers your question.
I don't get why desti-people want to ask non-shippers this question.
I saw it many times.
There would have been no show, you idiot. Especially not this. Whatever crap this is. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
They've been trying to change spn to the different show. It's so annoying.
Non Destiel Shippers, what stops you from shipping them?
What are the reasons you don't ship them? Im just curious, not looking for a fight.
People talk about why they ship destiel because they love it. People not talk about why they don't ship destiel because they are indifferent to it.
the sheer amount of blogs who say they got into spn expecting to become destiel shippers, and then getting hella into samdean is never gonna be not funny to me
There is so much gold in the tags:
I'm not good at listening English, but was Misha making up stories again?
twitter(.)com/CeaselessWatchr/status/1787435181294444908
Link. I think Misha is making up stories to cover up a fallout with the TW showrunner or producer. While The Winchester was being developed, Misha tweeted to Jensen that The Winchesters could use a “time traveling angel”. But when the showrunner or producer calls Misha, suddenly he’s “nah, not good enough for my character”? Nah, Misha is telling tall tales to his fans that he wants to do right by their fanfictions when actually it’s because there was some kind of fallout; either from turning down the guest star gig or from trying to influence Castiel’s storyline. Him calling Jensen afterwards is to make sure they’re still on good terms and he won’t get blacklisted from any future SPN spinoffs.
The timeline of Misha’s story means The Winchesters was still a prequel. When they retconned it as a sequel, the appearance of Bobby Singer and Jack the God makes some sense. Heck even Castiel appearance with the two could makes sense because it would jive with Bobby’s line in 15x20 that Cas helped Jack craft a new heaven. Buti if Misha’s story is true, then he pissed off the showrunner or producer by turning down a guest star gig, so he wasn’t invited to the finale and lost out on the opportunity to feed the hellers with Dean and Cas in the same scene of the TW finale.
This is why actors should never say "no" whenever the phone rings.

TFW2pointO: Interesting spnthen&now interview with Kripke in the latest episode. He says he didn't always plan for Chuck to be God. He leaves it up to fans if Ben is Dean's son. He's been trying to get Jared on #theboys and hopes to have him for season 5. lettistruluv: After the fuss Jared stans made, when they realized how v successful Jensen’s been on #TheBoys, of course Kripke would feel bound to make every effort for Jared. Happy for him😊 What a turnaround considering some initially scoffed at & about Jensen😊
I am always so annoyed with how bad of stalkers Jared-antis are. Like, at least put in a *little* effort? Or maybe its just the people I follow but I personally have seen very few Jared fans who even want him on TB let alone that made a "fuss" over it. The only time we even talked about it was when antis would start swearing that we were so sad he wasn't on and we had to tell them that no, we do not care.
Most of us don't want him on for whatever our reasons are, but I think it's also pretty clear he doesn't really want to be on. He's very polite and pc when he answers questions about it (how he's love to but timing, saying he likes doing projects his family can watch, or he deflects talking about having to work out first, etc.) but it pretty clear that it isn't something he is really looking to do.
But this passive aggressive "so happy for him *smiley face* because I saw that big fuss from his fans, must be a pity job offer" bs is just.. not it. Like, ma'am, he keeps getting ASKED about it in interviews. Kripke keeps saying HE WANTS HIM ON and has been trying to get him to join. Jared is not and never has been the one to bring it up first.
Um most Jared fans I know aren't "scoffing" at it. They just don't like the show. Plain and simple so they never cared about it or about Jared being on it. AAs get butthurt about that all the time because "winning" doesn't work if your competition doesn't give a shit.
I agree Jared is being polite. At most he might agree to a small cameo. He plays heart of gold characters so I don't see him really making a big move on this show.
Like, it's ok to not like something? That is allowed. And yeah, for them it's about a competition. It doesn't work if the other side isn't playing.
The only thing I have seen Jared fans liking is the fact Misha keeps pushing for a role and Kripke looking over his head at Jared "Come on Jared if you appear then I have all my people from spn on the show"

Well IF this is true (huge massive IF because both MC and Will are known to lie) it is soooooo much more embarrassing so I almost hope it is true lol. He wanted to "do it right" unlike someone else and THAT is the scene he landed on? He stayed a whole extra year at a job to make one of the most meme'ed and laughed at scenes in the whole entire show?
"he wanted to stay to write the confession and stick the landing for Castiel's ending" they couldn't even stick Jensen's landing from that push that came from the wrong side lmao. "in part because he thought the other writers would screw it up" - so instead of letting someone else 'screw it up' he just took a blowtorch to Cas' whole character development and any hope he had for not being a villain/joke after that scene??
He didn't stick anything. He confused the audience as to why Castiel's motivations suddenly changed, undermined his relationship to other characters like Jack and Sam, ruined Castiel's journey as a character and played the scene too vaguely for it to seem "romantic." Cas went from a badass learning to care for humanity to a creepy lovesick loser. The acting was bad. The writing was cringe. The editing was a giant WTF is that push? It's a bad scene and it's hilarious he's not embarrassed by it.
So percentage chance on canon deancas in the revival…
Same as the percentage I gave it going canon in TW: 0%.
I actually used to think there was a small chance it would go canon in the main series, although I was doubtful. Once I heard the ending, then I moved my prediction to zero and it hasn't moved from that. I'll adjust with new evidence! ETA: Jared said something fairly recently in a m&g that sort of pinged my radar, but with J2 as EPs, I don't see it happening without Jensen changing his mind on the topic. Previously, I thought they would go where the money was, but while I think that might've happened before, J2 aren't in it for the money and won't change their story for money.
A big fat ZERO. That was never the story.
With all due respect, Where's the money in Destial?
It's the brothers show that makes a winner in front of the GA coz everyone at some level can relate to family & having a sibbling/friend who is like sibbling. People watch this show across countries and continents not coz of Destial but the brothers.
We have seen the Netflix viewership numbers across the seasons. Angels & Misha are not a draw, it's high time people accept that and stop with this money narrative. The actual viewership number of S7 also reflect that his episode didn't amass any jump in ratings.
I really don't get why desti-people believe that canon destiel would bring about positive impact on spn/actors. It ruins spn and that's why it won't happen, not just because Jensen hates it.
