Hello, this is a part 2 for my adventure to the Nene Valley Railway!
Out and about running was BR Class 14 (D9529), BR Class 143 ‘Pacer’ (143 602) and GWR 41xx (4144). All of these had worked in and around Wales during their working life, hence the “Welsh Valleys Weekend” event!
GWR locomotives definitely have a certain charm to them and it’s nice to see another one running! The Pacer on the other hand… was a Pacer, what more is there to say?
Photos that didn't really fit in anywhere!

Oh ok
BR Standard Class 2 78018 at the Great Central Railway on May 23rd this year.
This is both a running number for a locomotive and how many thoughts bounce around ny head at once.
I don't really understand how Tumblr works. Here is my favourite photograph I've taken on the Great Central of a Class 37 "Cardiff Canton".
I like trains.
