Remembered this and cried so I had to make it everyone's problem
they were so cunty together
"Keep giving the FIA/Stewards the chance to penalise me, then I won't be winning anything."
What can I say about George other than that his team is costing him dearly? Today's race proved yet again that he's fighting alone. I wouldn't be surprised if, at the end of the season, he came out and said it was the loneliest season of his career, and he wouldn't be wrong.
His words aren't being taken seriously by his team, the team principal, or anyone. It feels like trying to speak to a deaf person, hoping that one day they will hear him.
I almost would have preferred if his performance was the one declining, but this isn't a performance issue. It's a deep-seated problem with the team's dynamics. Mistakes that seem almost deliberate are being repeated by a team with a long history in the sport stupid mistakes you wouldn't even see a new team like Cadillac make. When you're in a team that's so complacent, you're fighting everyone, including your own garage. It's sad and getting more frustrating every single weekend.
Luck isn't the cause of technical problems every weekend
Luck isn't the cause of repeated human errors.
Luck doesn't screw you over in all 10 out of 10 races before the break.
If this is the constant excuse used every weekend along with publicly blaming the driver, then you're not taking responsibility. You're failing your driver over and over to the point where he's numb to disappointments, which is a dangerous state for an athlete to be in.
These excuses don't hold up when a problem happens with one car and not the other. When the other car faces issues, it's treated with urgency, fixed before we know it, and the team admits fault, saying accountability is on "us" and not the driver. Why don't we ever see that with George? Why is he treated like a punching bag?
What can a driver do when all avenues seem closed. You're trying to change something you know you have no control over.
Another fraud podium (not Lando). I'm genuinely even more pissed than last week it's a repetitive case. This is so much for a fan to deal with. Imagine the driver? Team throwing away a podium and even a potential double podium by pitting under a vsc in a track where overtaking is challenging with only a few laps to go and then being punished for speeding in the pit lane??? Just like Lewis said over the radio, any chance they get to penalise him, they take. This is just sad. He fought hard and drove brilliantly, only for it to all slip away in the last few laps. It's clear they don't want Lewis to close the gap. Even his team is throwing away his chances just for their golden boy to be ahead. I'm getting tired and frustrated every race weekend. His hard work gets thrown away as if this is any other season, not one where he's in a championship fight. I'm glad this is the last race before summer break, I hope Lewis takes his time to reset and have a serious conversation with his team.
Dyk how bad it has to be for Lewis to say, "Sometimes you can't catch a break." MY SHAYLA 😕
Britcedes, let's scam a podium tomorrow!!
Btw AKA was summoned to the stewards over two different incidents:
First, failing to slow down sufficiently under a single yellow flag at T-14. Decision: Drop of 3 grid positions, dropping him from P4 to P7.
Second, driving unnecessarily slow during qualifying (alleged failure to follow Race Director's instructions *SC1-SC2 Time*). Decision: Driver Warning.
Final starting order after all penalties for the Hungarian GP
Kimi Antonelli got a 3 drop grid position penalty he'll be starting tomorrow from P7
Pin your hopes on Leclerc see what happens
The pit informed Lewis late of Oscar. Now he'll be taking a penalty! CAN WE HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND WITHOUT THIS BS
Well, Hungary isn't even a real race. Netherlands up next WE MOVE
Wdym George's engine "cracked" and caused a leakage of water?? That was spraying the tyres??? Shooting him would be more merciful atp
The pit informed Lewis late of Oscar. Now he'll be taking a penalty! CAN WE HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND WITHOUT THIS BS
We're not surviving this GOOD BYE
By only 0.012, and he's being investigated, I HATE MY LIFE! I'm losing my mind
It's going to be a rough quali, isn't it? Like please Lord I need this before summer break. I need dopamine to survive those 4 weeks. PLEASE LORD :(
