Apparently, McLaren has logged notice of intention to appeal (not for the penalty but the decision regarding Pierre Gasly), and they may not be the last! This Monaco gp finishing order is not final, so it's just a whole mess.
Redbull joined McLaren both have field a notice of intention to appeal against the decision to reinstate Pierre Gasly's P3.

I'm not done with this mess, George went to the stewards on his OWN during the red flag and plead for an appeal because that's only sane thing they could've done but they told him "rules are rules", Mercedes failed to serve his 5s penalty they could've he had a gap to Gasly but didn't and then got penalised even harsher all for nothing he served it and drop outside the points when he could've got a freaking podium ALL for nothing! It is just ridiculous

Pierre Gasly's monaco penalties have been overturned, so Pierre gets a p3 finish. This sport is ridiculous this is so unfair to the drivers who already served their penalties.

So 7 out 8 Mercedes powered cars have faced several issues with the PU in ALL 6 races! God, this is a horrible look, especially in this short of 6 races (I know with new regs it happens, but how unreliable can this pu be for it to happen in all 6 races and in this short period 😭😭)

Lewis was complaining about his brakes LAST year, and everyone was clowning him and let's not forget when his brakes blew up in Singapore 25 everyone was saying he's over driving and needs to learn how to use them like please we're not doing this!!
I'm happy with Lewis's result today and glad to see him 2nd in the standings, although I really needed that win. But my heart really breaks for George. Watching him struggle today made it feel like he's fighting completely on his own, facing the worst odds due to the incompetence on his side of the garage while it shouldn't happen at a crucial moment of his career.
I’ve watched George since his Williams days and always had a soft spot for him because I love hard-working, misunderstood talent. He always manages to push through the pain and hardship, which is why I want so badly to see him rewarded soon.
Seeing his struggles hits close to home for me. It reminds me of the times I dedicated and sacrificed everything for a dream, only to be left feeling hopeless, broken, and alone when it never became mine. Because of that, I love seeing others beat the odds and achieve their dreams, and hopefully, George will be one of those who had a hard time planting their tree and be rewarded with the best fruits when it matters the most.

I was watching Canada 25 post quali press for the shoe sizes comparison tell me why did Max look genuinely on the verge of tears after they asked George if he can lean on Max in T-1 after what happened in Spain and he basically said no the thing is the question they asked Max after George's answer was unrelated to the crash!! I'm sorry that face he pulled for whatever reason genuinely made my day 😭😭 I don't even go here!

I think that banning the Mercedes engine loophole and the possibility of losing 3 tenths of a second if they don't actually have something to compensate for those tenths in their pocket, which is very likely they do but if the ban hurt them, especially since 3 tenths is almost the gap between them Ferrari and McLaren (idk maybe even Redbull), and the gap shrinking each weekend, I think it would be a good opportunity to compare their drivers, in such situation when they might not have the fastest car (or the fastest but not far ahead of the others) in their pocket, how will losing the rocket ship advantage affect them if the ban put an end to the team's dominance, and who will be affected more by that. We can not judge now except in the upcoming free practice and qualifying sessions after Monaco. We can't judge much based on Monaco. The track is not power dependent. I would argue Spain, Austria, Silverstone, and Spa, which are power dependent to clear the picture. In my personal opinion, this is a good situation if the battle is close between the teams to judge the Mercedes drivers who are competing for the championship. In the previous races, one car (63) had major issues in 3 out of 5 races compared to car (12) who had minor issues or none at all, so for *me*, I don't think it showed *me* who really is the better driver and who isn't but how the odds work in this sport no matter how calculated it is, and I promise I'm not saying this to take away from Kimi's fabulous past weekends. I wished we could have seen the fight for victory between them until the end of the race in Canada because that was one of the most exciting and fierce battles I have seen on track in years, but the 4 races after Monaco will give us the answers. Perhaps a third driver will join this fight do not eliminate anyone until it's mathematically impossible we have 17 races to go this is f1 if I learned anything from my half decade in the sport is to expect the unexpected and keep in mind we only had 5 races it's a long year, and if that happens, it will frankly be one of the best case scenarios in my opinion, when most were expecting just the Mercedes to be in the fight. Anyways, this was my rent. Let me know what your thoughts are.
