Who can twerk the best out of the family?
"Sam, he has a nice ass."
"James get your shoes on." Marlene said as she put on a coat of lipstick. "You are going, no excuses." James wasn't social in the slightest, so for Marlene to drag him to a party was hell.
James let out a loud hiss from under the pile of blankets on the couch. “Don’t wanna. Too loud. Hurts head.”
James giggled happily and played with his hair. “My thoughts are cloudy and I can’t hear right but you’re so handsome and your lips are soft.” James continued to laugh and shower Steven in playful kisses.
“You taste like cereal.” He giggled. // when James woke up, he woke in an unfamiliar room where the walls were plastered in gay pride posters and random photographs of people. Steven was curled up with a fuzzy blanket
James groaned. His head and ass hurts. Then he shrieked. “MY VIRGINITY! IT’S GONE!”
Steven shot up and looked at James. “Why are you in my room?”
James rolled out of the bed and wiggled into his clothes, a blushing mess.
The next time they saw each other was a few days later, James was leaving class and Steven was taking pictures of trees
James blushed a dark red and rushed past him, staring at the floor. He mumbled meaningless phrases to himself.
James heard the sound of the camera, Steven was photographing him.
James froze and turned around slowly. “Uh, urm. He took a picture of me, he took a picture of me, what if I just walked in front of his shoot, I’m sorry, I’m so sorry, but what if he was being a creep, shit, why a I getting a boner at this, what is wrong with me? What? Why? I’m going to have to ask mommy if she dropped me as a baby. I don’t even have to ask, she probably did-” He whispered.
He approached him slowly, as if James was a deer. “There’s no reason to run from me. I’m docile I swear.” He said. “I’ll buy you lunch!”
James’ eyes widened, stumbling back. He still wasn’t making eye contact, his eyes didn’t even raise from the ground. “Uh- urm, I’m not hungry, thank you, pretty stoner, pretty stoner, why is he talking to me.”
He chuckled. “I’m talking to you because you’re interesting.” He said. “You want something to drink? Or a snack?”
“N-no, no, I’m fine…” James smiled softly. “Omigoshomigoshomigosh, he thinks I’m interesting, what, what is even going on?”
“Okay, if you say so.” He took another picture of him
James looked startled again and started to run as impulse, dropping his math book on the way.
Steven picked it up. He waited until dinner time to come drop it off. He knocked on their door, he had the book and several takeout menus
James answered, he looked half asleep and adorable in his Spongebob jammies, clutching his stuffed lion. He was still staring at the floor. “Hi there, pretty stoner.” He mumbled quietly.
He smiled. “Hi, you dropped your book today and my roommate isn’t home so I thought I’d treat you and Marlene to dinner.”
“M-marlene’s gone right now… But I would like some, if- if that’s okay?” James didn’t look up but hastily accepted the book.
He smiled at him. “Yeah, I have a bunch of take out menus. Can I come in?”
James stepped back, allowing Steven to enter. He rushed over to the couch and huddled under the blanket.
He entered and took his shoes off, revealing rainbow socks.
“Chinese, Italian, Diner food? It’s up to you.” He said
James thought for a minute. “Italian.”
He nodded. “Look through the menu then I’ll call and order.” He handed him the menu
James hesitantly looked through it. “I want the kids meal ravioli and fries. I’m not sure why an Italian restaurant sells French fries but I really want them.” He whispered, his hands fumbling with the menu.
He smiled. “I heard that have damn good fries though.” He glanced at the menu and dialed the number. “Yes hello I need a kids ravioli and fries, a chicken parmigiana, and another other of fries. The college apartment. Thank you.” He smiled. “It should be here in about twenty minutes.”
James nodded and fixated his eyes on the television. Some random dog documentary was on. “Why are you being so nice to me?”
"You're interesting to me." He said. He smiled
