From my project Rollers. Documenting the roller skate scene in London. These were shot one sunny Sunday afternoon in Bethnal Green. @kyewhyte87 told me he was going to the Olympics about two years ago. We were chatting and he explained that one of his main aims with BMX was to qualify for the Olympics and represent his country for the sport. And win the gold. It’s been full on this last couple of weeks. I was away in Bucharest and now back and working on my new project. Capturing the roller skating scene in London. These images are from the @wavyon8 jam at Clapham on the 5th of June. Such a great atmosphere there. Reminded me of the clubbing scene in the late 90’s. Everyone so friendly. Yeh it’s about skating but it’s more everyone meeting up and having a good time. So cool to feel that energy again. Especially after all the crap we have been through this last year. 1st two images @skatewithsis and the last few images were taken when the flood lights got turned off. Everyone turned on their phone torches so they could continue to dance.
