for soshi’s 6th bday: why I love them ↳ Taeyeon ♥ Although she is the member you guys see me complaining about the most (in a good way), it would be a terrible lie if I firmly said that I don’t like her when I actually absolutely adore her. There are many many things to like about Kim Taeyeon that go beyond her pretty face and her great voice. I love how carefree she is, that type of person who likes to be herself, she’s totally one of the most “what the fuck do you mean with ‘image’" members in the group, if she’s not the most. The way she cares about her fans, always trying to get closer to them, and also the way she cares about her members. She’s a mother and a sister to all of them. She herself once said she didn’t want to be the leader of SNSD, but she will always be. Not because she is the oldest, not because she was told to, but because she knows how to lead them. She knows how to take care of her “children", she not only has the gift of singing, but also has the gift of the leadership, and I couldn’t think about someone better to take the leader roll in the group. The fact that she said she didn’t want to be the leader just makes her even more special humble. And also, it’s just lovely how a shy and pretty girl like her can be so dumb and stupid sometimes, yet still look adorable to the point you can’t even think about saying no to her. She’s a great woman, and I’m pretty sure if I ever met her in person I will admire her even more. Leader, hwaitaeng! <3
