When I say, "Brigitte still loves Ginger even into Unleashed" that's not me saying "uwu lovebirds," that's me exploring the fact that even after Brigitte has severed herself from her sister for her own survival, she still holds Ginger in death. She still keeps Polaroids to remember her because - in spite of all the hurt and wounds and trauma that comes from the memory of Ginger - there's still tender memories... memories of when they were younger... memories of a time when they would support each other and look after each other (memories that have been tarnished, yes, by the shadow that in "looking out for her" Ginger perhaps did not have her best interests at heart, but that adds meat to the story, that adds complexity and pain), loving memories that fester with the horrific ones. And that interplay of love and suffocation plays out in the third film as well.
