This is so heartbreaking. I didn’t know Harris personally but I was a huge admirer of his writing, and we had enough friends and colleagues from UCB in common that this hits really close to home. What a sad, stupid, unnecessary loss.

Holy Shit You Guys!

JFL42 (just for laughs) is happening in Toronto right now.

So far I've seen Nikki Glaser, Amy Schumer, Mike Birbiglia, Chris Gethard, Jen Kirkman, Paul F Tompkins and Andy Kindler's Alt Show. Still to come is Tig Notaro, Paul F Tompkins (again), Pete Holmes, Ron Funches, Doug Benson, Seth Meyers and Broad City.

Just looking at this list makes my heart soar!

BUT ANDY KINDLER'S ALT SHOW TONIGHT WAS UNREAL! Andy Kindler (obvs), Tig Notaro, John Dore, Paul F Tompkins, Pete Holmes, Mark Forward & Brody Stevens. (all secret guests.)  After the show, on my way out, I saw/ran in to/spoke with Andy Kindler, Brody Stevens and Pete Holmes! It was one of the greatest things ever to happen to me... Talking about comedy and being encouraged to do comedy by people I admire... NEXT LEVEL BONKERS!

I just can't even wrap my brain around tonight...
