I’ve wanted to do Nami’s POV with falling for Sanji and I love to think it happened suddenly, like a slap in the face. Is this also just an excuse for me to thirst over Sanji? Yes, yes, it is.

Nami turned to Sanji, smiling saccharine-sweet to ask if he’d sponsor her purchase, but her words died on her tongue when she saw his expression. It was a look of yearning. She’d recognize it anywhere. His eyes were locked on the blueberry dress. She turned back to the window, and noticed him standing right across from it, so that his reflection overlapped with it. The blue matched his eyes. . Nami tries to help Sanji realize his feminine side, but, like with everything Sanji, things aren't quite as simple as they seem.

The very first night

This is for the SaNa Day Gift Exchange event me and ray are running over at @sanamievents! I love the film ‘Hitch’ and the moment I saw the prompt ‘blind date on valentines’, I couldn’t not do this (also, hands down one of the best romcoms). Besides, with speed dating you don’t know who you’ll see that evening, so although I’ve stretched it slightly, it’s technically not cheating?

Summary: Speed dating was not Nami’s idea of fun but she was there to make sure Robin would be okay. Which was why she was blindsided by the smooth talking, suit wearing chef sat opposite her. Rating: T
