You know I do understand that sanami isn't popular or anywhere near as popular as a lot of Op ships, I understand that a lot of shippers who like pairings that involve either Nami or Sanji love to call sanami a gag ship or just hate on it in general.

What I don't like is the fact that they not only attack the people who like the pairing they also love to downplay Sanji and Nami's bond.

For example, some cope I've seen all over social media platforms is that Nami uses the suffix "kun" for Sanji because she either wants to manipulate him into doing stuff for her & she leads him around, or she looks down on his status as he's her servant...?

And it's just so bizarre because if you really need to twist narratives around a pairing and create headcanons such as these then maybe you need more content for your ship idk.

Either way, whether you like them as a pairing or not there's no denying that Sanji & Nami care about each other and they have a strong bond.
