Some women are lost in the fire. Some women are built from it.

1. Start slow. Just like any other relationship, you are not going to win yourself over by going too fast. 2. Compliments do not require someone else to provide them. Take some inventory. If you do a damn good job at keeping the house clean, or making your little sister laugh, know that you are doing a good job. Remind yourself. Accept your talent. 3. Pick yourself some flowers. Buy the dollar tulips across the city street or pick some of the neighbor’s wildflowers. Put them in the kitchen. You did that for yourself, by yourself, and you can do other things too. 4. We already live in a world where we are told we’re not enough. Make your body a safe place. No bad thoughts here, no criticism. You are doing what you can, there’s no reason to let yourself become the enemy.

sometimes i know what i want and where i want to go and who i want to be and sometimes everything is jumbled and i don’t have the slightest idea of anything and that scares me
Why is it that kinda creepy dudes almost universally seem to prefer the word “females” over saying “women?” Are they trying to sound academic or something? It’s like they’re talking about an animal species. “Let me describe my observations of THE FEMALES”
That’s because if you refer to a female as a “woman” you have to deal with the “Are you saying I look old” problem, and if you refer to her as a “girl” then you have to deal with “Are you saying I look like a child” problem.
The workings of the female mind us such a mystery that referring to them as seperate species is both the safest and most honest way to address them.
Have you spoken to a single woman in your life you fucking weirdo.

ya know what gets me really saucy and impertinent? how pissy some people get about artists’ methods. usually the crime in question is “laziness”, as in…copy-pasting half of a face, or an eye, or a hand, for a symmetrical result. using textures for a nice quick finish. having a very simple style. especially when the person in question is popular–”how can so many people like them, their art is blah blah blah and they don’t do enough woooorrrk”, honestly screw that noise, where did you get this impression that art has to be HARD to be good or likeable? that’s objectively incorrect. copy/paste is a gift. textures are AWESOME. simple art styles rule the media. you are consumed by envy, and it has made you silly.

my friend just texted me “it’s not acceptable that trump feels good about himself and you don’t” and i think it’s the most motivational thing i’ve ever read
