some topics that may be mentioned or alluded to in some manner are as follows : demonic possession , hallucinations , paranoia , trauma and ptsd symptoms , child neglect/abuse , allusions to self-harm ( this theme will remain non-explicit ) , murder , intrusive thoughts and compulsions , and dissociation / depersonalization . note on these topics and gaara's character : i understand these topics are intense and should be handled with great care and understanding . without any depth , i have experienced / closely witnessed and studied / gone through extensive years of therapy for many of the aforementioned topics , and while i am no professional , and am prone to making mistakes , i am somewhat familiar with the concepts and will do my best to capture gaara in a manner that i deem respectable both to his character and real people who struggle with symptoms similar .
