Our waste can cause air pollution, several respiratory diseases, and other life-threatening issues. Contaminants can be absorbed into our lungs. Such things as carbon dioxide, methane, and other chemicals expose us to these serious dangers.
Garbage is one of the main reasons for bacterial diseases, stomach pain, diarrhea, malaria, typhoid, skin diseases, respiratory problems, and the list goes on.
When we throw garbage in the open as shown above it will eventually find it’s way to our oceans causing such things as the infamous garbage patches we see today. The Pacific patch as an example can reach a depth of eighty or ninety feet deep consisting of plastic bags, bottles, fishing nets, and a list of sundry items. Plastic is perhaps the most hazardous item making up the vast majority of trash in the Pacific.
